So, umm, I'm through 112 (not from the usual guys, don't get too excited). While the quality isn't terribly good, the episodes themselves are unbelievably awesome.

The end of 110....wow.

The only problem is that the episodes won't be totally fresh anymore by the time "they" release them, but what the hell...I need my One Piece. :)

Argh! it's going to be tough to resist this other group, with FMA drawing to a close & Naruto dwindling into another filler arc. Especially now with the story picking up steam in the Arabasta arc. :mad

Well, apparently this other group is already dead, so this is their only batch. Which is fine...these are pretty much speedsub quality. Which isn't all that great.

Anyway, I think I'm gonna stop here at 115. Don't want to ruin the whole thing for myself after all. :)

I wouldn't blame you guys for jumping ahead, because from ep110 on, it's just a steamroll to to the finish. Everybody gets in a good fight, your respect for Usopp will rise +100, and above all, Zoro shows why he is such a badass.

The final fight of the arc (pretty obvious to guess) doesn't get going til 121 though, so you're still setting yourself up for 10+ weeks of waiting.

All of those fights are pretty good, and made the long trek through the desert worth sitting through.

I've watched up through 141 or 144 or something, and after Vivi's bit ends there's a short filler arc that reminds me a lot of
that Apis arc, except it's an old man who wants to be a pirate instead of an old dragon
and then it goes into some
funky time traveling thing
, but it's interesting, anyway.

So One Piece is getting better? Good.

I have not watched a single One Piece episode after 90. :D
Jesus Christ. You've sat out on all of Arabasta? After all that time they spent getting there?

Anyway, yeah, the
Chopper/Usopp fight was awesome. Especially since you really don't see team fights normally. Even when everybody is together, it's almost always split into one on one battles.

Yeah. =\

Considering One Piece is over 200 episodes in japan now, I always pushed it to the back of the list. I still have a lot of anime DVDs to watch and some manga to read. After that it's my gaming backlog. The more episodes pile up in my folder the better! Honestly though I think I just want to wait until I can watch it with a clear conscious. That means making up the mess that is my school work. >__<

My plan is to wait until 120 and have a One Piece marathon weekend. :D

Looks like One Piece 110 might--MIGHT--be out tomorrow night. I think they're still having tech problems though, which is probably the cause for the uncertainty.

It's about time, though. 110 is SOOOOOOO good.

That's why I caved in and watched a bunch of shitty subs through episode 118 or so. :D

The episodes coming up kick so much ass.

I don't care if that group takes another week or two, three or even four with the current episodes. I just want to see a more consistent release schedule with the next 10-15 episodes. I don't mean to be demanding, but I really don't want to be waiting 6-7 days for each new episodes, right smackdown in the thick of this arc.

By the way, did anybody watch episode 2 of One Piece on FoxBox this weekend? I Tivoed it because I'm a masochist, and holy shit was it godawful. Apparently "Zolo" speaks ONLY in fish/ocean puns. :lol

Not to mention some hilariously bad digital editing such as this:
gg-4k-op.jpg

and this:
mystery-hat-4k-op.gif

Also, "cookies" that looked like smashed up rice balls (digitally painted brown) while on the ground but when thrown at "Zolo"'s mouth suddenly reform into whole cookies.

And lord even knows what else was in there. Totally hilariously terrible. Oh well. I shan't put myself through that again.

Anyway, things are looking pretty good for One Piece 110 tonight at midnight. Still apparently not a definite, but it looks like it's gonna happen.

That cookie thing was terrible.

Refresh my memory, what was the edit that caused the pic with part of Luffy's hat missing?

edit: Was he on a full cross in the original, I can't remember.

Hey Meta, does this look as totally off the wall bizarre as it sounds?!

gotta screen cap?
I don't have a screencap. I actually by that point had had enough already that I wasn't paying that much attention. He was still shot with bullets/musket shots, but no, the Marines were definitely not using muskets. :)

Yeah, I think so. I'm not certain, but I think so.

Freakin' awesome episode, well worth the wait.
Crocodile gains +1000 points of badassery for just messin' up Luffy.... no long-winded build up, he just hooked him. Also it looks like the Robin story is starting to surface, should be interesting to see what happens with her & Mr.0.

Indeed.
I'm kinda happy Luffy finally got fucked up by someone after 110 episodes or so of virtual invincibility. Makes him a bit more human. I mean, sure, he's been wounded before, but nobody has ever dealt him anything even remotely resembling a mortal blow before, whereas someone like, say, Zoro gets killed three times a day. :D

it kind of plays out in about a two-minute span a little later on in the 120s, so don't expect a whole lot there

I know I said I wouldn't watch again, but I couldn't help myself.

This week on something calling itself One Piece, a gun was replaced by (you're going to love this) A SPRING-LOADED HAMMER WITH A TRIGGER. That's right....a HAMMER.

Also, all other guns were, indeed, replaced with super soakers.

And judging from the preview for next episode, it seems Shanks has AN AUSTRALIAN ACCENT.

Really, this takes talent. You can't make this shit up.

good GOD those are some horrible edits. That must be why it took so long for 4Kids to actually start airing OP. They needed time to F it up. :D

I absolutely CANT finish a single KF torrent file thats within episode 102 (where i left the show a while ago) and 107, i downloaded 108, 109 and 110 without any problems but they're on a different tracker. So anyway, how the hell do i download 102 to 107 without getting 6.2% after a full day of the torrent running? Its pathetic how slow it is. And its not my firewall, since any other torrents i download are perfectly fine and fast.

Change the port range you use in bittorrent to 443 to 443 and open that port on your firewall/router whatever. Close the torrent, and then re-open it and it should work, atleast it did for me.

Dont forget to change the port ranges back to what you normally use once you have finished the torrent.

I followed the instructions from this site, http://dythim.mit.edu/bthelp/ for bitcomet and it did absolutely no difference :( I just tried 443 and it doesnt seem to change anything either

Nevermind! i've found it, stupid me who forgot that dlink has a bazillion tabs for the same goddamn job, i was setting forwarding the ports in the firewall tab when it had to be in the application tab, grrrr. connection speed poped to 68kbs in a matter of seconds, much better :D

Well, they are saying there is a "very small probability" that we will see One Piece 111 tonight.

Oops, strike that. Now listed as "slightly higher probability."

So maybe new One Piece tonight. :D
