If wait is all I have to do then what is the use of traversing GAF pagesI'll just wait till next year when the numbers come out
Chart should be up soon.
Pretty exciting to finally be back on track and put the crazily slow past few weeks behind us.
Until Dawn to snatch number 1! My gut is feeling it.
Number 2 on combine could be good but we don't have numbers,That's good for until dawn isn't it?
Should probably get your gut checked out.
I didn't expect UD to get to the top of the chart per se, but I did expect it to beat GoW. So that's a bit surprising.
Gears of War: Ultimate Edition enters chart at Nbr 1
After the doldrums of summer the new releases begin to arrive and sees the start of a busy release calendar right up until early December. Kicking us off this week we have 5 new releases within the Top 10 and 4 of those arrive at the top of the chart. New at No1 is Microsoft’s Xbox One ‘Gears of War: Ultimate Edition’ - this is the original 2006 Xbox 360 Gears of War remastered and a first outing on Xbox One, also including access to the Gears of War 4 beta in 2016. Debuting at No2 is Sony’s survival horror ‘Until Dawn’ for PS4 by Supermassive, a UK indie that has specialised in Sony platforms. Debuting at No3 is Disney’s ‘Disney Infinity 3.0’, the first of 3 hybrid toy franchises due over the next few weeks. EA debut at No4 with ‘Madden NFL 16’ and last week’s No1, Warner’s ‘LEGO Jurassic World’ drops to No5 (+2%). The 5th new release of the week is Bethesda’s PS4/Xbox One ‘Dishonored: Definitive Edition’ which debuts at No7, in advance of a full Dishonored 2 update, scheduled for some time in 2016. There’s one more new release within the Top 40 and that is Bandai Namco’s ‘One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3’at No27 for Vita, PS3 & PS4.
Man how boring.Chart-Track PR note doesn't give us any clue to estimate how new releases did it. At least they were kind enough to show the percentage change of LEGO Jurassic World...
I was hoping for Until Dawn to take the top stop it deserves it.
Gears selling at £25 would be hard to beat.
Actually didn't Gears release on a Tuesday and Until Dawn on the Friday?
Yup, MS didn't even seem to market GoW whereas Sony had ads on a number of channels.
It's the main reason imho. Until Dawn is a new IP and full price title. The Gears remaster is a budget title which costs nearly 50% less. So I expected the #2 spot.Fuck.
Still pretty good though. I guess the slightly lower price of Gears played a part too.
Nice for UD.
Of course it had no chance against Gears, but i'm surprised it is above Disney 3.0, even in combined charts.
Well, Gears is still an established franchise, and this is the first noteworthy retail exclusive for Xbone in 2015 (correct me if I'm wrong, though). So, it makes sense.

Which means you thought The Dishonoured remaster is in the same ballpark as the Gears Ultimate Edition.Yeah, I suspect that's why Dishonoured didn't do particularly well either.
