This is the more likely explanation. I mean, her personality lends itself to it as well, so I never had an issue with it.
Makoto's nofunallowed.jpg attitude was worse, IMO.

In this hypothetical switcharoo I think Tae should remain Tae, because her arc works much better as a woman, and she sets my bi-dar off anyway.
Ms. Chouno's totally American, right? She says she's from California and her skin tone/features are just blatantly different from everyone else. Then again, her last name is pretty Japanese...

I'm kind of late coming to this thread, but having finally finished the game I really liked the idea of Joker ending up with Haru. It just seemed sort of a classic adventure tale romance, with the whole stealing her away from an arranged marriage to a shitty guy thing going on.
My favorite confidant story overall was actually Yoshida's, though. I liked how he took Joker under his wing and the way he outgrew the "No-Good Tora" moniker on his own, without any heart-changing.

I read no guides, saw no videos or anything before I started playing the game, so I had no idea you were able to get into a relationship with Kawakami.
I figured she was going to go "haha, that's cute that you have a crush on me, but you're still a student" and that would be the end of it... little did I know she DOES fall for MC. I had a pretty good laugh about it. (I wanted to do Tae at first, but I figured she was going to do the same).
BTW, the harem route on Valentine's Day is fucking HILARIOUS.

Nah, Tae is 110% into that. She's even the one that makes the first move once you go that route.

Dunno how it was with your Confidant, but I remember how I got 3 notes almost every time despite never telling her what she should do.
She just did everything by herself. MC was there to support and encourage her without actually telling her what to do.
Which is how you should actually help people most of the time. This is something I liked to about other party members' storylines.

Joker-chan is the only thing I want from an enhanced version now. Morgana's conceited enough to preface all of his perv comments about Ann with "It's not like you aren't pretty Joker! I just..don't see us that way" as if I was trying to get it in with a cat in the first place. My other very far fetched wish would be for male Joker to be a totally separate character, and thus also a character in the female route of the game. His confidant would be amazing.
P5 is already pretty gay. Just let us make it canon. Hashino isn't looking now you know..

Definitely agree. Haru's strong personality made her s-link fun. I opted for levity in my responses, thinking she might respond well to it. I think that got me three notes, though she was often confused before realizing the MC was joking.

Her social link with Mitsuru is actually really sweet and well written. Unlike MaleMC's social link, which is schlocky, forced garbage ("Teach me how to eat a burger-----> I love you more than anything"). It's like a parody of Haru's Confidant.
