PES series - "The Return of the King"

Yes, let's ignore what happened with the pes 2013 demo. It doesn't matter anyway as pc purchasers only generate ~2% of their annual revenue. It's an insignificant market to most of the big 3rd party publishers. Ea, 2k, Activision, and Ubisoft couldn't care less about that segment of the market so feel free to take your dollars elsewhere.

according to the annual sales report of Ubisoft, EA, 2K and Activision the PC market is about 15-25% of their market. (Most being over 20%) Other big publishers won't be much different.

you are wrong to assume the PC market is irrelevant.

Shouldn't the demo be out in 20 minutes on PSN US?

But the FIFA demo was already out by now on the xbone last week and the us PSN is already updated someone said? I hope its today cause I really want to try it.

I'm not sure what's been updated as of yet, all I know is it usually updates Tuesday afternoon. Stuff may still be trickling in.

I'm out this year. I've bought PES PC with lacking licenses and game modes. I refuse to buy one where the gameplay is not the best version.

You realize that the gameplay is the same in all versions. This has been confirmed multiple times. The only thing that is not the same is the visuals. The "next-gen" version has a different lighting engine and that's the only difference.

Gameplay is supposed to be the same for all versions, only visuals (in the default/vanilla/unpatched/unmodded pc version) are not quite on par with ps4.

He might be a moron but is still official PR for Konami.

Whats the deal with digital download versions? I saw a pic of someone pre-ordering it on German PSN but nothing is showing up on US PSN :/

You should break that down into the type of games. Ea releases games like the Sims which increases the percentage because it's a pc game first. If you look at the revenue distribution of console first games, you'll see that the pc port pulls in an insignificant percentage most of the time.

Super excited to play it tonight. I just like my football games if it's PES or FIFA.

Can't wait to test the responsiveness of the players.

The last sport where there is credible competition.

-Nothing in American football
-Nothing in hockey
-Nothing in Baseball
-Nothing credible in basketball*

*I'm assuming NBA Live is shit again.

The demo plays brilliantly :D

Shooting feels great and not as floaty, the gameplay is smooth, players look fantastic and the movement looks lifelike (player ID) on a lot of players.

Right now the one thing that stands out is how bad the keepers can be (nothing new to PES though). They can go from making a fantastic double save to absolute howlers in the space of a few seconds.

It's not always but occasionally they'll just flop for a shot that's close by and miss it completely. They do make some absolutely stunning saves though :)

The problem seems to be that they won't attack the ball, they just sit on their line and get beaten by weak shots. If that can be fixed this game would be near perfect.

If Konami released this as is I would be sooo freaking happy, this is a return to the PES of old and I can't stop playing it...it's that good!!!
