Reading about how shit this new Madge alberm is likely to be is depressing. Why can't more aging pop girls remain as cutting-edge and fierce as fuck like Grace Jones? Bitch was 60 when she put out her last album, which sounded incredible (and still does) because she worked with the same people as on some of her classics and also brought in contemporaries like Tricky and Brian Eno -- instead of slumming with garbage like Aviici or Diplo.

I'm not a huge Mariah fan to be honest. I do have some of her CDs from ages ago--Music Box and the first Christmas album. I tagged along with someone.
She definitely passed her prime, but she hit all her high notes.
