Exactly. They did say they wanted an IPhone type reveal but that is way too quick.

This I can agree with, the placement also seems off like the actual controller and console are way too large on the box itself.

A) a cheaper SKU to sell alongside the premium priced NEO
B) cheaper to manufacture than current PS4

It's a good time to replace the original PS4, no need to keep pumping those out anymore. There are cheaper materials now, and it's due for a refresh to coincide with it.
