Go for it. As many have said, life is too short and the risk seems low from the way you describe it.

I would only recommend that, whatever happens, this is just for fun, please, please don't "fall in love". Have some money with you in the remote case she's actually working with a pimp that will beat you if you don't pay.

There's a big chance she's just testing you for free this time but will ask for "presents" if you want to repeat the experience. Don't take anything she says seriously at this stage.
 
With the OP being so awkward and having issues going on, I doubt he will be able to tell the difference from she liking him or just trying to get money. But if he is having a good time, not sure it really matters as long as she isn't totally draining his wallet dry. Go on the fucking date. Movie tickets, popcorn, maybe drinks afterwards is better than sitting at home doing nothing. Get some life experience! Have a story to tell.

Maybe she thinks the OP is nice, could have a nice relaxing time with him or maybe she is trying to extract more money out of his wallet. Only one way to find out. No hope for what, exactly? If OP understands the boundaries, he can go out and have a nice time with this girl. If he gets attached is when there will be trouble. If he thinks of it as 'going to see a movie with someone he's familiar with' and nothing more then it will be OK. I think OP should take it as a compliment, in a way: An escort has sex with lots of men, but in this exchange she sees him as a respectable client who she wouldn't mind hanging out with. It ultimately does feed her business, but OP can get something out of this exchange.
 
I know some prostitutes that got married and stuff. Dunno what happened afterwards though. Whether it is happily ever after or not.

A movie isn't really a good date. You'd at least be getting conversation if you got coffee or something.

I feel like the chance for a normal, healthy relationship was lost the moment money was exchanged for sex. Now it's a business arrangement. Now you're going to spend all your time together wondering if she enjoys your company or your money. There's a remote chance it could work but why choose to fight your way out of such a negative first impression? There are a thousand ways to meet someone and avoid those types of complications.

I can't make decisions for anyone else, but I think it's a terrible idea.
 
A looser (sp) better wrap it up. I hope to God you aren't getting to know this lady better by taking throughout a theatrical experience too. And go out to lunch if you want to know if they're worthy of your time.

Right. Its not like I cant bail after this, I really don't think I would like to have a relationship with her anyway for obvious reasons, but if she wants to hang out and see a movie with me why not. Maybe she is genuine. I will probably find out if she is not, if not I know GAF will rub it in my face when I tell them about it.
 
If you're genuinely interested in her, I'd say avoid a movie right off the bat. Get to know her - go get coffee, have a conversation that doesn't end/begin in intercourse. If you want to make this not-awkward, just treat it like any other prospective relationship.

That said, the signs are pointing to this being a bit weird - maybe even extortive. Be careful.

Don't infer what we'll think. We're rooting for you (mostly?) and for this to go well.

The best case would be a friendship if you don't want a relationship. The worse, you don't talk to her ever again. Such is life.

Make sure however that there is no third party involved to try and attack you.

If she's genuine then I don't see why this wouldn't be a good thing. We're mostly rooting for you, we just don't want you to get burned.
 
What's this "relationship" business you guys keep bringing up? Didn't she explicitly say they're going as friends? And I highly doubt dating a prostitute would be a fulfilling partnership.
