Can't wait to read the first Crystal Bearers impressions. To think this game was considered dead (even by myself) for such a long time...
OT : Seriously. I actually pointed out PepsimanVsJoe's fascination for sandals-wearing videogame characters in some thread, like, two years ago. But to this day, this mystery has never been resolved, nor did he ever got a tag related to this weird habit of his. Front Mission Evolved still continues to depress me. I do wonder what's worse: the fact that Double Helix is making it, or the fact that the mech genre has fallen so low that even if this game is mediocre, it'll still be better than 70% of the efforts. If the game can at least emulate the battles seen in some of the FM4 & 5 cutscenes combined with more tactics and "mech chest high walls", then it can at least capture some of the Front Mission feel.

I have to admit... even with the bad art, bad developer, and cheesiness of the trailer, simply seeing the trailer made me feel a bit better about Nier. Seems like a fun premise, that will be expanded upon in an embarassingly bad story and hack'n'slash gameplay. Which, I suppose, is exaclt like Dragkengard, which I hated, but even so, I'm interested.
