Oh hell yeah WOLFLAME is on STEAM Greenlight

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=616034965

It's pretty legit. The demo was pretty good and the game seems pretty damn slick for a doujin release in terms of display options and whatnot. I was impressed.

Was about to post about this. It's by Astro Port, who did: Satazius, Supercharged Robot VULKAISER, Steel Strider, Armed Seven, GIGANTIC ARMY among others.

Kind of a shame their stuff still has to go through greenlight, guess it's because their stuff is pretty niche, but they're quality games, so upvote please. :)

Do we know whether 5pb has the rights to Jast's (well, Lemnisca actually) translation for Steins;Gate?

If they need to do their own for Steam, I might as well get the JAST bundle, if it really has S;G, I don't believe 5pb to be capable of producing quality translation on their own...

BTW, Steins;Gate confirmed in the bundle at $30 (cyanic: Steins;gate will be the same price as on JAST, since they're legally bound to sell at no lower price.)

Glad I got this one when it was discounted to $5.
Just wrapped up the first episode, need to replay it to get the missing quests/dialogue. Should take ~5 hours overall.
Even if the second episode is a bit shorter, that's still good 8-10 hour game. Absolutely well worth the price.
Get well SWERY65.

The majority of the game can/will be spent in episode one.

Episode quick can be done really fast if you're ignoring sidequests/exploring and stuff (I was using it to grind for the 100,000 credit achievement while waiting for the special packages to show up so I could hope to get my final record).

And I agree with the rest of your comments. It's bumped Deadly Premonition up in my backlog quite a bit and I plan on getting to it in 2016.

tried to buy AC Unity on Nuuvem with a VPN...failed at PayPal processing

it's a sign

Yeah. A sign that you shouldn't buy it if it's not on Steam.

Cheap > +1 Steam

I still need to play Demonicon. The whole reason I bought it in the first place was because I saw a bunch of screengrabs showing some of the bizarre dialogue.

Use a VPN; it's only activation-restricted. A US one will do and there are countless free options (FlyVPN, Spotflux, TunnelBear and VyprVPN, to name a few). I'd go with VyprVPN as it offers servers just about everywhere, so odds are you won't ever have to go looking for an alternative if you ever, say, need a Brazilian IP address (FlyVPN's free accounts no longer offer Brazil as an option).

Sweet it's better buying off Nuuvem anyways as our dollar is weak and you get an uncensored version aswell. Lego Batman 3 is $6 AUD too!

So is this the best KT port so far?

Hm...

I would say if they fix the performance issues. But that might just be my GPU. I think more people need to test it to see if its a general problem.
If only a few have these issues, I would say it is (after 30 minutes of playing it).
Besides the Performance issues, the AA is really from hell. You can check out my 1080p screenshots. While the enviromens are okay, the cellshading/black lines look really really bad. It actually kinda hurts.

You should bump Deadly Premonition on to the top of the list because it is quite honestly one of the best games last gen, even with all of its shortcomings. Especially when considering you liked D4.

remember the fighting games on neo geo pocket color?

Sure you do.

This game is in early access but it deserves your attention. I realize I'm being a shill right now but I promise you I am in no way affiliated with the developers of this game.

Never had a neo geo pocket. I did have the black and white one i bought cheap from a yard sale but I sold that awhile ago. Is that game any good?

I have yet to play it but it seems very promising.

Seems like it is perfect for people wanting to get into fighting games for the first time.

From the early access description it seems pretty early on though.

Just put about an hour into Firewatch, and so far I'm really happy I went in blind (
that intro!
). It's also an amazingly beautiful environment in motion, and the dialogue is great.

But it has also a bit janky at times. If you are using a Steam controller, then be sure to go to the options and select it under Controls first of all, as you'll get only keyboard prompts otherwise. Also, if a text overlay from reading something gets stuck, then go back into your journal (button to the left of the Steam button), open a text (Y), and then exit it again. That fixed it for me at least.

Since they are suppose to be mostly porn games, are their porn games any good or is it typical Japanese fetish for barely legal devirgining story lines?

I dunno, I don't play 18+ VNs, with the exception of Saya no Uta, cause people nagged me to play it and I didn't know it was.

The spanish translation team of Steam Translation Servers are on a strike

TL;DR: There has been a huge mess involving Valve’s employee Torsten Zabka and the Spanish team of Steam Translation Server that has resulted a strike from the whole team, and 2 valuable colleagues being expelled, one of them being a Valve employee that also got fired. We want to share the story to reach Valve’s attention and show the community that not everything around is pretty.

The intro made me fucking cry.

Damn you Jake, Chris & co! Remo's subtle soundtrack really adds a lot to it, especially in the intro, it tucked on my heartstrings.

Anyone here interested in a one month subscription of XSplit Premium? Humble Bundle just email me, to let me know that I have until February 12 before the code expires. I'll PM the code to whoever quotes this post first, asking for the subscription code.

EDIT: gone
