Joe Molotov said:So....Trauma, well, right...I guess if you're really into hipster, indie bullshit games you'll probably really like it. It reminds me of that Dinner Date game "Oh, let's have some guy talking to himself for 20 minutes, games as art all up in this bitch, motherfucker!" You actually get to do stuff in Trauma, but well, it's just not very gamey.
I bought it. GOTY? Nope.Snuggler said:Terraria is the GOTY so far. Bitches should buy it.
I thought it was good. The vertical cover was neat and not limiting the jet pack was a great mechanic.bigace33 said:At 4.99 Dark void would be a ripoff. One of the worst games I have ever played.

The gunplay stays shit the whole game. It's a shame to because there are some wonderful bits of atmosphere sprinkled throughout the experience.gdt5016 said:I played about 2 hours of Metro, but the gunplay is terrrrrrible. I'm gonna give it another shot, now that I just finished Splinter Cell Conviction (awesome game btw, easily my favorite SC).

Heh, it was £2.50 on gamersgate the other day. Wanted it on steam though. ><zoner said:You know what I just noticed is NEVER on sale?

I don't know, I kind of like the gunplay. I'm a sucker for atmospheric games with kinda shitty mechanics. STALKER and Metro are like right up my alley. That said, it could definitely use more polish. I just beat the game, actually, and I have no clue really what went on.Stallion Free said:The gunplay stays shit the whole game. Wait, are you getting 5.8MB/S through mobile broadband? Or is that your standard broadband speed? Either way I want to burn my house down and move to London.iNvidious01 said:i'm unbanned

Stalker actually has good mechanics/gunplay.Flunkie said:I'm a sucker for atmospheric games with kinda shitty mechanics. STALKER and Metro are like right up my alley.
What? I find the gunplay in Metro phenomenal. What makes you say it's terrible?gdt5016 said:I played about 2 hours of Metro, but the gunplay is terrrrrrible.

To me they are comparable. In fact, when you guys starting shitting all over Metro shooting mechanics i was thinking of Stlaker all the time.Stallion Free said:Stalker actually has good mechanics/gunplay.
Metro is Stalker-lite made by the people who left the Stalker team.Refreshment.01 said:To me they are comparable. In fact, when you guys starting shitting all over Metro shooting mechanics i was thinking of Stlaker all the time.
Metro is a fantastic game that tries to stay far from generic FPS land, so i apreciate that. Hopefuly its good qualities will make a return in the sequel.
Yes, im aware of that. Funny, because we might see two consecutive games from them before Stalker 2 roles around.Stallion Free said:Metro is Stalker-lite made by the people who left the Stalker team.

coopolon said:I really liked how as you increased the difficulty in metro, enemies didn't just get tougher (and ammo MUCH more sparse) but your weapon damage went up as well. It really completely changed the fights where you could kill people/monsters MUCH quicker but of course could die much quicker as well. It was so weird when I went back for my second play through and forgot to turn up the difficulty having to shoot these things multiple times in the head to kill them.
Haha, I had the exact same thought and checked the Steam site to see if I just missed the mid-week sale or something. But heck, I'm always down for talking about Metro.

You missed the death of capitalism, but then there were TF2 items and thus captalism was saved!K.Jack said:Wait, what, Quake IV is suddenly out? And it's $19.99?

1. Go to the user.cfg file located at X:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\4A Games\Metro 2033
the 2nd one is in steam/userdata/*some numbers*/43110/remote
2. Edit it with a text editor such as Notepad
3. Find the value called: sick_fov 45.
4. Change this value to sick_fov 60.(including the period at the end)
5. Save and close the file. Now start the game.
