I think it varies from game to game, but I haven't had any troubles with that yet.

I'm pretty sur eit would delete anything in the steam folder and leave outside folders alone which would often be where the games save. Obviously, cloud saves would still be there but I'd guess other saves would be as well though I'm not positive.

When you "delete local content," the game folder still exists in steamapps. I've deleted a few games myself, and in their folders I see subfolders called "Saved Games" and files like "autosave.save" etc. So, probably.

This is on a game-by-game basis. Most modern games keep your settings and savegames in the Documents folder which is almost never affected during uninstallations. Older stuff sometimes kept savegames in the actual game directory but included an option to keep savegames when uninstalling. Still others wiped everything without asking.

If it's the ones that upgrades augmentations you already have, you don't need a medbot. You can upgrade anytime. On the augmentation screen, click on one and there should be a tab at the bottom that allows you to do it.

I have one person on my friends list who didn't get the 4 pack but the game + content pack and it shows up all as individual purchased (ie: "4" new games purchased by him). Did I screw something up?

Also, whats this talk about From Dust PC controlling poorly? I held out for the PC version over XBLA because the game just screamed "mouse" to me

Right click on the game, go to I think "View DLC" or something, and it should list the DLC you own. DLC doesn't show up in the games list itself.

From Dust port is really bumming me out. I'm usually pretty tolerant, especially for a game that underneath it all is genuinely good, but this shit is so distracting. The resolution, the controls, the lack of AA, the 30 fps. Urgh.

What a shitty port job! At least I have a console controller I can plug in ... but you know what? the 4 friends I convinced to buy doesn't!

It's like the PC version has an exclusive diffuclity setting, it's annoying as fuck to have to battle the controls, let alone deal with nature!

Pro-tip for anyone playing (Or planning to buy this, in faith that more god games come our way), when using WASD to move the camera, keep the retarded ferret worm cursor in the center of the screen or you might have a fun time playing 'Why did my screen just jump back to the original location'.

And the uplay system?! It took me 20 mins to get my account working!
Lesson learned though, Ubisoft's on the shitlist. No blind pre-orders for games from them.

Don't think the input issues will be patched. If you already bought it, might aswell give it a try. I use a PS3 remote through motionjoy now. Better than the shitty k+m for the game (still sucks though)

Sounds right. Fractal's a great game, and Steam can only do good things for it.

Just bought it, the code I got doesn't activate on Steam so unless you get a Steam code when the new version releases I don't think it works like that.
