It's one of those titles I knew fans would be excited for. Glad to be able to finally confirm it. We'll share more info on the port quality, features, pricing, etc. soon.

As mentioned in another thread, it's on MT Framework and the same port team who handled DDDA is working on it. You can rest assured and expect similar high caliber port quality from DR1.

Awesome, thanks man. DR's mall always had a special charm.

A shame DR3 was never fixed but that was out of your hands. I don't have any of the games on PC yet but I will get DR1 for sure, good memories.

I'm planning to get EDF 4.1 if I see enough people here buying it. Hubby's busy playing Monster Hunter Generations, so I can't play with him if he wanted to buy it.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.

If that's the case, day 1 here.

Based QLOC at it again? Based QLOC.

Is this one of the ports you guys had cooking or is it another one with more on the way?

Serious Sam is a wicked gahbidge series for chowdaheads.
it's like a conservative meme of obama as a joker in the shepard fairey hope poster, except instead of obama it's rob cordry

Tangentially related: the only time I've seen one of those Obama/Joker/Socialism stickers in real life was in Montreal.

It took me a while to figure out the kind of person that would put it there and the only thing that made sense was a sarcastic French Canadian.

I am Setsuna vs EDF 4.1. Im so puzzled right now. sigh...

Oddly enough, I was sure that God Eater 2 would also be releasing this week in Steam, which would make this hard decision even worse. That said, unless they botch the EDF port real bad, I'll probably go with it, just got done with an JRPG and it's not like I'm on a shortage of those, IaS can wait.

Is EDF fun as a solo experience tho? I most of the time hear about it being a fun coop game but havent heard much about it as a solo game (Which I'll probably play that way since I dont really coordinate with anyone on that stuff)

Can someone explain to me the difference between

This

and

This

They're both developed and published by the same parties, but in different years. One is part of a package and the other isn't. The vanilla Majesty 2 offers the collection too.
Basically, I'm wondering why there are two pages for the same game, unless they aren't the same game (by same game, I mean the Majesty 2 collection offered o nthe Majesty 2 page)?

Base game vs. "GotY" edition, basically. It's a bad setup, but it allows base game owners to buy the DLCs without needing to buy the GotY Edition.

I hope you also played the Outlast DLC because it's just as good if not better. Also check out Soma.

I have not gotten the DLC yet. Outlast has so many "nope, nope, nope" moments. I HATE that feeling when I'm playing but afterwards I love it.

I will add SOMA to my list as well. For some reason I had the impression that it wasn't as good?

Well, Alien: Isolation! Not only does it capture the tension of the original movie (and then some), it's also a superb horror game. And it fits your criteria perfectly: you have ways of defending yourself, but this definitely isn't a shooter. But be prepared for a long campaign.

Another great one is Condemned: Criminal Origins, if you haven't played it already.

My spouse has played Alien: Isolation but I have not yet. How scary is it? Is it screaming in terror scary? Is it dry heaving, sweating terrors scary?

I've played Condemned: Criminal Origins, a.k.a. hobo fight murder simulator. With birds.

Well, Windows 10 update scheduled for this night.

Black Sails is amazing, everyone should watch it. Also Windows 10 is not as terrible as I thought it would be but that forced upgrade will fuck your shit up. Right up. Fresh install ASAP as per other posters.

Haunting Ground

Haunting Ground, what a game. Could you imagine playing that in VR?!

Servizio

I don't really need a tag, but I figured I'd get one to make people jealous. Is it working?

Condemned is probably a pretty good comparison to Isolation, first person, fantastic sound design, you can be somewhat aggressive but it's not actually a shooter or a fighting game.

I'm not sure how they compare on the terror scale. I think how you react to the Alien would have a lot to do with that.

EDF runs great and is a blast to play..

Could use some more video options for sure but it's a decent port. Devs seem to be pretty active and hopefully they will update the game

Is any of the EDF dlc good or is it all cosmetics/random weapons?

what's on the store now are just skins and weapons that people say are just for a novelty, as you'll get much better weapons a third of the way through.. there were some mission pack DLC for higher levels but those aren't on the store yet

Looks like I'll have an excuse to replay Dead Rising. Still my favorite episode of the series.

The first time I played it I remember thinking that it felt so fresh and engaging. A comedy survival horror of sorts where you have to manage time instead of a limited inventory.

SOMA's fantastic, but it's different to Outlast. I'd go so far as to say the actual monsters are the worst part of SOMA. It's not really a haunted house game where you'll be terrified of the monsters and run from area to area. I mean, it does have that aspect, but to be honest I found they sometimes intruded on what makes SOMA actually terrifying, which is the philosophical, existential questions the game asks about the human condition, consciousness and what makes a life worth living. The monsters aren't terrifying because they're misshapen nightmares, but because they may be right in their actions.

SOMA's sound and environmental design is also top notch, it's a fantastic world to explore, with a whole lot of details you can put together about the world through the objects and environment. I also really enjoyed the story, though I am a bit of a sucker for anything that touches on the nature of consciousness.

I love my fans, but sometimes I'm way too easy to friend someone having a problem with the game.

On more than one happenstance, it has been a mistake.

Oh, then there was the guy that actually found my home phone number and called my house because he somehow bought the game but couldn't open Steam.

The final boss fight in DS3 is so much fun to just farm co-op stuff with.
Just gang up on him while listening to that piano tune. Watch him just pull out all these ridiculous moves from his arsenal while trying to fight for his life. I fought him like 50 times now and every single time I saw him pull off some crazy shit that keeps him in the fight. Most times its a little something that helps him win too. Seriously I don't think I've ever seen a boss in any game that had so many unique moves. This guy is the real mvp.

When is ace attorney trilogy+ghist trick on steam?
Pls make this the next project
Wbacon pls

Next project is already confirmed to be Dead Rising 1, but I guess they can be working on several things.
I do think AA Trilogy is far more likely than Ghost Trick, as the iOS port already has HD artwork. Ghost Trick is also on iOS but the sprites were the same resolution as on DS.

Moves so unique it's almost like he stole them from other people.

Heh yea. Its still very impressive at the number of things he does.

I don't think there is a single boss in the entire series that has more than 7 or 8 moves. This guy just straight up triples that number. Its quite a spectacle. He and NK are probably the most next gen boss encounters I've seen in any game out there in a very long time. NK more for the visual side of things. But even he also has some incredible moves. Its very impressive how well they put those 2 together.
