-the free game a month is exactly like PS+. As long as you download within that free month it's yours to keep as long as you're subscribed.
I thought it was confirmed you only get to keep the games "for a month"?

"No limits"
Ok, makes sense.
Also HD rumble is the new touch pad and the new XBO rumble triggers.
When Nintendo confirmed the free VC game per month was only allowed that month, I'm taking this post with a grain of salt.
You still have to have done a system transfer though. So I would say they have improved the method a bit but it probably still isn't linked to the NNID (which is linked to the Nintendo account...four years and NNID is already thrown under the bus...)For what it's worth, it does seem like they actually do have a way to track Wii VC purchases on their newer stuff, given you can handle upgrading them to the WiiU without having to be on the system.
I don't think that post was actually comparing the tech behind the two, more the implementation given they said PS4 touch pad too.The XBO controller doesn't have HD rumble in its triggers. It has rumble in the triggers and that is definitely an improvement, but the rumble motors used are the same, traditional, motors that rumble has used since the N64.
The Joycons are most likely going to be using linear actuators, like the ones Apple uses in the Apple Watch and the iPhone 7.

Nintendo's online service for Switch will charge a monthly fee and one of the incentives is one free classic game ”per month." Does that mean you lose access to that game after a month?
Reggie
Correct. It means that essentially you've got access to that game for a period of time, and then after the month there's a new selection. You'll have the opportunity to buy it, but [after] that month we've moved on to another game.
There is way too much conflicting information out here about essentially everything. Nintendo could really use a nice long FAQ.
This is wrong, as stated on the Nintendo website, confirmed later by Chris Kohler and even more recently by Reggie on Wired.
The fact that a registered developer either still doesn't have correct or full information about the platform they're developing for reflects so poorly on Nintendo's ability to communicate properly. What a clusterfuck.
Losing the game after a month never made sense in the first place.
This is what I'm wondering as well. Maybe Reggie phrased it wrong? You could Interprete Reggie's comments to fit a PS+ model
'Lose access to it after a month' could mean 'you can't download it anymore because the next months games are up' but if you already downloaded it, it's yours to keep
Yeah, it's frustrating that there is this lack of clarity, but maybe it's just fanboys like myself not wanting to face the truth. I think the key word is "access"

Access = ability to download for free?
Access = ability to play?

Okay, so how could this be used in a video game beyond novelty value? On Joy-con's
-HD rumble is the real deal. The bottom of the joycon will vibrate if an ice cube hits the bottom of the glass. And a full glass of ice cubes will make the top of the joycon rumble. Like the joycon becomes the glass. Basically the rumble can vibrate at different intensities but also at different locations instead of being one giant motor.
-Her theory on VC is if you bought a VC game on 3DS or Wii U you'll pay an upgrade fee like you did ON Wii U. However, if you bought the same VC game on both Wii U and 3DS you'll get the Switch VC game for free. If you only bought it on Wii VC you're SOL.
So it does have them?? Or just the Pro Controller??Analog triggers!

You think so? I've honestly thought that they could stand to just stop talking about certain things for now. I'd rather have no details at all for things like the online service than information that might change because of how far out we are.
Their graphics on the 2017 lineup for Switch also drive me nuts, as they were updating them through the day on Friday. If that lineup/release window isn't set in stone, don't show it off like that! Especially not when you're making multiple changes to it the same day.
I'd be happy with a simple statement along the lines of "we'll have more information to share at a later date".
So does the Pro Controller still have Analogue triggers or is that also false?
Would still leave hope for playable GC VC.
-the free download a month is chosen by Nintendo because if they offered all VC games with online the player base would be split and you'd never find enough people for a match. Whereas with this method, everyone who's downloading the game is part of the same player pool.

"Can't talk specs"
Yeah I wonder why that is
Yeah. It's one of those features that you just can't show on video. You have to experience it for yourself. Like 4k and HDR or happier touch.I mean, rumble is a novelty. I'm excited for it people reporting feeling the "springiness" of Arms got me hyped for its potential but I can get why people wouldn't care.
