And really multiplat JRPGs released at the same time is not something that i can recall ever happening until the FF news at E3 (and that still is only same day for US which is later down the line). So for companies needing money (and MS i'm sure is helping) companies are giving them the love.
And for fighting games in this gen, why would a company at this time release it exclusively? All other fighting games by these companies have gone multiplatform so its not a shock to me.

After the travesty that was playing SC4 on the 360 with the Dpad I'm only buying future fighters on ps3. And no I dont use sticks.

I already knew this, back around when Namco had their sales forecasts they had updated their site and listed it on the Xbox 360 game page. Did nobody else see it? Wow, I should have said something but it was just after the Vesperia PS3 confirmed topic I made so I didn't feel like another one of those topics. Also.. the "new RPG" that is on the PS3 page was listed on the 360 page as well. Maybe it was just a dream, or, I am psychic/crazy.
There's that Naruto game (unreleased), Valkrie Chronicles, Yakuza 3 and Kenzan, that Tecmo GoW looking game (unreleased), Disgaea 3... I'm sure there are more, but I still think the 360 trumps the PS3 w/3rd party exclusives and have no reason to believe this trend will suddenly reverse itself.AranhaHunter said:

I hope it stays exclusive, but given it's Nomura I know that he would not compromise the PS3 game anyway so I am not bothered. Unlike idiots, I don't need 3rd party exclusives to justify my console purchases. I look at a game library and make a decision, exclusive or not.

MS publishes 3rd party games and has very little in house dev's, while Sony does most of its development in house. It all depends on where they are putting money. Personally, I'd put my hope in the latter (1st party games ftw).

What angers me the most is that when the 360 gets a PS3 exclusive, it comes out at the exact same time. When PS3 gets a 360 game, it's a year late and still inferior.
The only game really keeping me interested in PS3 right now is Little Big Planet, which is one of the best games I've played. But obviously Sony won't buy out Media Molecule and will let them go multiplatform again.

People are still surprised by this stuff happening? Really? It has been said for a long time now it's your own studios/IPs that are going to make an impact now. The only thing that's going to suffer is the quality of 3rd party titles having to make concessions due to the hardware differences of both machines, trying to meet in the middle of the road.
There has only been one 3rd party title touted as anything special visually, and that's been MGS4. And even that isn't up to par with Uncharted and Killzone 2. First party studios along with "second party" studios and owned/contracted IP's are going to make the difference in what you should buy a system for.
It is a shame though to see games go down the tubes by being washed out going multiplatform.
