But when I think about it, that's par for the course for American prime time. I have to watch British television for believably average face and mole faced characters ❤️

I think CW is cheesy to a stupid degree for this. I can't watch their shows because it's was too obvious how superficial and unbelievable their casting of twenty-something models is. I think their shows are bad enough as is without teen appeal casting strategy.

I watched the first season, and half way in...it was just hate watching to figure out who did it.

It's the worst fucking show I've ever chosen to watch. I didn't even bother with season 2. The writing is abysmally bad too.

Yeah fuck this show, it's so bad I had to hate watch it too but couldn't get through it so I read on Wikipedia for the ending.

Saw this show for the first time yesterday. And I know, I know. Some might be wondering what's so shocking about Hollywood actors being good looking. But there's something uniquely different about the cast in Quantico that's somewhat hard to describe in comparison to actors from other shows. Like something, artificial almost. As if most of them were actual models before they became actors.

Anyone else feel the same way?

I can only really handle Friday Night Lights level of pretty. I think being CW kind of pretty doesn't get you that far as an actor though, given how the most successful of the kids from FNL are Michael B Jordon and Jesse Plemons, rather than Minka Kelly or Taylor Kitsch.

This is the big difference between US and UK TV/film. UK goes for realism over beauty, US goes for beauty over realism (and typically beauty over acting skills too).

And sure it is unbelievably distracting on shows like this and just about anything on the CW.

They just lack any sort of charisma. Being pretty alone doesn't make people interested in the roles you play.

Doesn't even come close to most of CW shows. It's especially disturbing when they're doing some darker show (for CW standards ) and there are still supermodels in the cast.
