Autofokus said:GSAU: The game is obviously quite violent. Were any modifications required to meet the Australian restricted MA15+ rating and pass classification?
JM: Australia has been supercool. As far as I know the Australian version is completely intact. Much unlike the German version, which is severely modified.

Xbox360Fanboy.com said:A bulletin recently posted by the official MySpace page of...The Darkness, has clarified several details about the new release. The juiciest of these tidbits is the revelation that a demo is slated to be released before the game hits store shelves. The bulletin notes that the demo won't be finished in time to make any magazine covers, so it will download only. Currently, the demo is scheduled to arrive approximately 3 weeks before the title debuts on June 25th, so it should be on Marketplace in the first week of June or so.

We just received a tip that The Darkness demo has hit an unforeseen road block and may not make it to the Marketplace before the game ships later this month. Being a subscriber to The Darkness' MySpace group, Ben Furneaux says that he received a subscribers only bulletin message from Lord Sonatine stating that the demo has been delayed, but will release as soon as possible. Again, we aren't cool enough to be subscribers to The Darkness' official MySpace page, so we didn't get the message to confirm its contents. But you can take Ben's word for it and check out the bulletin message he received, posted after the break. The Darkness can be stopped ... by Microsoft's certification team.

Why does it seem like the most badass games get hardly any advertisement?

Pazuzu said:I was on the fence about this game, but...Mike Patton as the voice of The Darkness? SOLD!
Patton is an awesome talent, and aside from Mr.Bungle and Faith No More, his solo experimental stuff is wild and amazing. I can't wait to hear this stuff in-game.

KGKK said:Looks amazing. How long will the game be though? And no multi right? If the game is decent lenght, I will probably get it for the PS3.
momolicious said:so is it just a joke or is the story really him taking out his "Sexual frustration" on people
momolicious said:so this will eventually come to PC like riddick right?
Draft said:Hahaha apparently shooting it out with a police helicopter is one of the least exciting things to happen during the game, because they put it in the credits sequence. Damn this game is going to own.
I don't remember off hand. Definitely don't remember it being short. I mean when I was done I felt like I'd gotten my money's worth. And obviously that just ignores the fact that irregardless of its length, Riddick was the best FPS game of last generation, gut stomping contenders like Half Life 2 and Halo.KGKK said:As long as it is at least over 4 hours long. How long was Riddick?
