Adam Leonard, whoever you are, wherever you are, I will find you. And it won't be nice.

I unlocked the final ship in Arc Squadron, awesome. I'd say it's a must-buy for iPad.

Anyone play iBomber Attack? Seems like fun.

So, if I understand this correctly, the Millennium Falcons are kind of a skip-a-level deal -- you just shoot the hell out of everything to unlock the next level, right? If that's the case, IAP for them seems pretty trivial, as I can't imagine wanting to use them.

Yeah sounds like the Eagle IAP for Angry Birds, basically paying for a cheat.

If you're playing AB Star Wars competently, you'll never use one. There's not a single level in the game that's so difficult you can't simply one star it. The Falcon doesn't guarantee a 3 Star, just a 1. I assume it's for little kids and grannies that can't aim properly. I have a mental deficiency that won't let me move on to the next level without 3 starring the level I'm on first.

I have an extra code for Strange Matter if anyone is interested.

I'm the same way, and it's why I can't play games like Angry Birds, Cut the Rope, or Where's My Water? for too long. I end up getting way too frustrated at the game if I can't get three stars in a decent amount of time and ultimately put down the game altogether because it's too stressful.

There is an additional challenge with the falcon to get 100% destruction on levels. You get medals for this. Which makes the consumable IAP for this fucking stupid.

Man, just got finished with Phoenix Wright. What a great game (despite the missing iPhone 5 support). I know it's a DS game but having never owned that platform I'm glad to finally get to play it. I'm a bit confused though since I've read that Phoenix Wright (trilogy) is coming out for iOS this fall. Are those games older or newer than the game currently available for iOS? I noticed the last (5th) chapter of the game took pretty drastic leaps in features and difficulty over the rest of the game and I'd hate to go backwards

Actually, it's a GBA game that was later ported (and localized) to DS, and the last chapter you're referring to (if memory serves) was added to the DS version, which is why it looks different. You won't be going backward, though.

I guess I'm glad that I don't find any of that interesting, or it would bother me. I just want to 3 star the levels and move on. That's been the appeal of AB Seasons and Space, and it's just as strong for me in SW. As someone else mentioned, though, when I get stuck trying to 3 star a level for too long I get frustrated and put the game away for a long stretch. My own fault, I guess.

I've gotten addicted to Pocket Planes recently but I've been wanting to play some sort of city building simulation. I like the Pocket Planes, Tiny Tower, and Pocket Frogs game play but I want to have something develop, not just have a button to push every 5 minutes.

Happy Street was enjoyable but it got a little boring after awhile. Is there a freemium Sim City or anything like that out?

luckily these games are so tiny, I can pick up and play them again years later from phone to phone lol.

Try the Virtual City games, I've had a lot of fun playing them. They're more like the "Tycoon" games of the 90's, if that tells you anything.

You are correct. The GBA versions are JP only, the first DS game is the GBA game + a new chapter that had more features that used the DS' extra capabilities.

I can vouch for puzzle and dragons. game is super crack. funny because I just figured out that you could move any tile to any space on the grid. this was after about gaining 8 ranks. *sigh*

Yeah it's fun. Shame it's requires one to be online. And your bag gets full extremely quickly.

Was thinking of making a separate thread for this, but people are getting made at me thread spamming :P

modern combat 4 is confirmed for 2012. Was surprised that they didn't launch it this week to piggyback off BLOPS 2 hype.

Quarrel Deluxe is free right now. I'm not a big fan of word games, but this always looked interesting.

I don't get the point of the Falcon either. Though I do appreciate that they had the foresight to put the button so close to the menu button and don't ask for any confirmation that you want to waste one...

It's fun when you start planning ahead to purposely bump other tiles along the way in order to pull combos.

You can spend a magic stone to raise the space of your monster box, I only did it once so far but adding 5 more boxes already makes a difference and doesn't feel as cramped.

No I'm right there with you. Same way with achievements too. Fucking sucks!

Can't wait for Baldur's Gate. Hope they don't push it back again.

They are testing the multiplayer so I guess they are pretty much done...on the AppStore will arrive early December imho...they should submit the app next week to have it published end of November.

I'm not sure I'll buy it...I already have the original deluxe editions (completed multiple times) and I still do not know if the new content is accessible right out from the start (I doubt it).
No way I'll put over 100 hours again in it, but I'm uncertain about the multiplayer.

I wish for new content, or something more multiplayer friendly like IceWind Dale 1-2.

I can't stop playing Extreme Road Trip 2. The 'one-more-go' factor is off the charts.

This game is mad 'one-more-go'... grindy as fuck though.. but it's what I wish Tiny Wings was to start with!

..but this level.. is that the Iron Giant?

interesting. only 1 rock.

Some iOS news today

Bastion is now a Universal app. However, it does not support iPhone 4. It works on 4S and 5. Uh oh.

Punch Quest is no longer free. It's now a $0.99 game. Gots to get paid

I'm curious about Bastion myself.. Any input? Similar to any other RPGs ?

It is a real time action RPG. I felt it controlled adequately on the iPad, but the narrative and aesthetic hooks made it VERY engaging.

I would be concerned that the controls would be even more frustrating on the iPhone.
