If you already have your Game Center account set up, it should activate immediately when you enter the game.
You can either view Game Center scores from within Flight Control by going to "Stats" and then "View friends" (they kinda hid this stuff under oddly labelled buttons, I know..) or you can view Flight Control data within the Game Center app by clicking your "games" tab (after having opened Flight Control and played at least one game, I'm assuming)

I just bought Flight Control too, played a quick game for the first time, only landed 12 aircrafts, quit it, and Game Center says I still have 0 games. Oh well!
Maybe that's the problem... seems you get version 1.8 when you purchase it. Says my apps are up to date though...?

I had purchased the game in the past, but apparently never re-downloaded it when I picked up my iPhone 4.. so I redownloaded today and automatically ended up with v1.9. Very strange that you guys are getting v1.8.. maybe there is just a problem with the system with so much craziness going on today due to the launch?
Hopefully the updates will come through shortly.
edit: You'll know when you have a working Game Center-compatible version because the "Welcome back, [Player]!" Game Center-skinned prompt pops up immediately when you start the game.

It probably hasn't been pulled, just hasn't propogated through all the akami servers yet. Give it some time folks. or turn off your phone and turn it back on again and hope you jump on a different akami server when you launch the AppStore (I'd suggest using iTunes though, many times when an update comes I can get it on iTunes when there's a problem seeing it on my Phone -- like it appears and disappears).

Installing Real Racing for the third time. It shows up in my apps to update. I install it, no game center, rinse and repeat.
EDIT: Third attempt and nothing. Even though it's telling me it's the new version, it still installs the old version. Just bought Zen Bound 2 to see if that works. I've been curious about the game anyways.

You must launch the game at least once since its Game Center update for it to show in your games list.

So I find it kind of odd that Apple would launch two social services (Ping and GameCenter) within the same timeframe without integrating them at all. Here's to hoping that gets fixed in the future.

Oh, I wasn't referring to you. I was talking about the others who had no issues updating but aren't seeing games in their list immediately. FWIW however, I've had that 'stuck update' issue before and it resolved itself after a bit.DoctorWho said:

Yes, my girlfriend already has 20 out of 30. Even funnier is that she rarely plays it on the iPhone. Mainly just on Facebook and it still counts because they're in sync with each other.DoctorWho said:

Anyway, now that Ive played a few games and some of you have as well, Im finding the leaderboard and achievement comparison systems to be just fine. I still think they need to show you your friends achievements of games you dont have installed but that may come in time.
the big stuff they need to add now is messaging to better arrange for matchmaking. and then avatars.
I guess now I have another reason to go back and play through Enigmo again (2 year old app store launch game looks way better with the retina screen)
(crosses fingers for Sword and Poker GC update with matchmaking and achievements)

Just now, with the 3GS, Touch 3, iP4 and Touch 4 are developers really using the GPU that debuted with the 3GS since 4 devices have it. When the Touch 5 and 4G come out, developers probably won't use the 512MB RAM because it would leave out the Touch 4 and only include 3 devices. The Touch 6 and 4GS will be when 512MB RAM will have the marketshare that app developers want.

One thing is for sure, theres going to be a buttload of app discounts incoming for updated Game Center games.
