My EB hadn't received their shipment yet. Oh well, the wife is shopping at the mall right now so hopefully she'll still be their to pick it up for me when it arrives. Otherwise, that's one more thing I get to add to the list of stuff to achieve after work.

I'm in the same boat. The only X360 games I think I'm going to buy for the rest of the year are GoW and VP. So I'm milking Gamefly for all its worth. I figured I wouldn't get Dead Rising until sometime next week, so I picked up Kameo yesterday for $25. Really cool game. Should easily keep me occupied until I get Dead Rising.

I'm in the same boat, BuddyC... picked mine up as soon as EB Games opened but I've been running errands and setting up new speakers [TO PLAY DEAD RISING ON, OH YEAH] so I haven't gotten to sit down and play it yet. The time has now come for me to enjoy a good game, later GAF!

Heh not that they really know anything =) I'm sure they're going off the ad than knowing a shipment is coming. I'll be checking out the Palo Alto store at around 12:30 or 1.

Not that this helps you much, but I went to the Fry's in Houston at around 1. they checked the computer and said it hadn't come in yet, the guy said it should be there by 3, "But Guranteed by 4!".

He said a few people had been in looking for it already.

I thought about going to GS to pick up the game just for a T-shirt. But in all the pictures it didn't look too hot. Maybe it looks better in person.

Just got it at EB Games in Austin at Barton Creek Mall. They recieved 50 copies and only have 5 left that are not reserved, so be sure to get the game as early as possible people.

How about we actually hear some impressions from people who have the game.

Like me!

It's fun saving people but it's even more fun to watch them DIE.
So I save these two guys and I end up getting lost. Next thing I know they die. First guy gets chewed up real good blood everywhere. Second guy gets WTF lol 69ed(The woman zombie gets his face between her legs and then bends over and munches on his wiener). I imagine there's all kinds of crazy scenes when the person you're escorting gets killed(note: they'll also come back as a zombie)

Also cool weapons
I was using a Gumball machine for awhile and upon breaking it gumballs flew everywhere and all of the nearby zombies slipped on them.

I haven't really touched the main storyline yet lol. I just play until I die and then start a new game with my improved stats. Hilarious game, Capcom does it again.

Also happy to hear that this looks to be a big seller. I had to drive to four different EBgames in order to find a non-preordered copy. Okay well I'm not THAT happy about it but hey.

the ebgames near me in nyc only had enough to fill pre-orders.Ive been playing my brother in laws copy and now hes taken it home....I CRY!

Atleast ill have my copy from ebgames.com tomorrow.

Get the hedge clippers or a knife and wait until Carlito stops firing. Run up to the boxes and jump onto the platform where he's standing. He'll notice you and start firing so find a corner to hide around until he stops. Then just bum rush him. Make sure you have a full health bar because every clip he empties on you will take a box of health away. It takes forever with a gun I've noticed.

Damn Brokaw got them? Palo Alto didn't so I ended up driving to the new Best Buy on San Antonio and they had it in stock. Stupid me forgot to bring the paper to price match it so I'll have to go back again and get the price difference. At least I have the game now! What sucks is I have a 360 on my desk, hooked up to a nice HD monitor, but I don't have any audio. A part of me wants to rip right into it now but I think I'd rather have sound too.

I only had time to play for a bit before I had to head back to work but the game is awesome so far. One thing that bothered me though, why the hell does it have to stop to load a 4 second cutscene. They werent kidding about the constant loading being jarring.

Picked mine up at the EBgames here in SF. They had 3-4 non-preorder copies left. They wouldn't price-match Fry's.

Can't wait to get home and play!

yeah aside from the loading and save system everything is perfect.

im actually liking the story too. pretty neat... characters are all pretty cool and really good voice acting

Picked mine up from the Conway, Arkansas Gamestop. They got in 33 copies, only 4 of which weren't pre-orders (which sold near instantly). I hope the sales continue in this fashion!

Was pleasantly surprised I got a t-shirt, but it most likely won't fit me (I'm XXL). Some dude on my friend's list already has 6 of the achievements, damn him!
