The challenge is to finish three or more games in a month.
Having this goal can be a good reminder to pick up some old saves, and motivation to continue games through the occasional frustrating times. Some months can be harder than others, and different people have different circumstances, but three can often be an achievable goal to push for.
What counts as finishing a game can sometimes be fuzzy, so you can use your own judgement. There aren't any hard rules.
Please post your goals for the month, and please share your triumphs and setbacks and impressions of the games you play as the month goes by.
How Long to Beat is a big help, as a guide to how much longer a game will take.
Backloggery can be used to keep track of the games you have and haven't finished, to prevent a game from falling through the cracks.
52 Games. 1 Year. 2016. is a thread for if you're looking for a bigger challenge.
Good luck to everyone chipping away at their backlog.

I expected it to be a good month for me. So far I have finished 7 games, a good mix of longer and shorter games.
Oxenfree: I started and finished it on the 1st of June, in about 4 hours, buying it after hearing about the game earlier this year on the Match 3 podcast. I'm got the feeling of Kentucky Route Zero crossed with Firewatch. It seems to have a few significant different choices and it makes me want to play through it again.
The Book of Unwritten Tales 2: Finished on the 4th. It's about 20 hours long which is long for a point and click adventure, which is exaggerated by playing the previous two games in the series (including the spin-off) recently. But it some excellent high points along the way and I would like another game in the series. Around Chapter 4 there were some puzzles that didn't make as much sense as usual but it picked up again towards the end.
Gone Home: PS4 version, finished on the 8th, in about 90 minutes. I had played the PC version when it was released but now I finished the PS4 version as well. I appreciated it both times but appreciated the storytelling more this time.
Tales of Zestiria: Finally finished on the 9th, in roughly 30 hours. It is the first Tales game that I finished. I took a break from it for a few months due to some required fetch quests putting me off it. I finished those on the 8th of June, then the rest of the game on the 9th. Most of the gameplay between the end of those quests and the end of the main story was worse than that, with a lot of backtracking. I played it for the characters.
Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter: Finished on the 11th, in maybe 12 hours of gameplay. It's a bit disappointing, although it still drew me in to finish it the day after release. The cases have less satisfying conclusions than in the previous Sherlock Holmes game, which is the main issue with the game. I expected the greater emphasis on action scenes to be the weak point but they were better than I expected (however I would still prefer significantly fewer). It is my 12th platinum trophy.
Dreaming Sarah: Finished on the 21st. It's a light metroidvania with quick progression (It took me 2-3 hours long to get to the credits and 85% completion). It has surreal elements and an absurd sense of humour.
Radiator 2: Finished on the 23rd. I am counting it as one game: it is a collection of short games which I finished in 50 minutes (5/5 steam achievements). The games are Hurt Me Plenty, Succulent, Stick Shift (and a hidden extra) and CondomCorps. Of these games, I had only bought Hurt Me Plenty before (and counted it in a previous month) though this is an updated version. They are male homoerotic art games, plus a shooting game where you shoot condoms through windows. For an article about them (NSFW): http://steamed.kotaku.com/it-s-not-easy-putting-a-gay-sex-game-on-steam-1782457390
I'm also aiming for some of:
Atelier Sophie: After playing for a few hours, I respect its differences from other Atelier games. I thought I might be more frustrated by its changes from the other games.
The Testament of Sherlock Holmes: I bought it this month and have played it for about three hours so far. It resembles the games after it in the series more than I expected.
