EXACTLY. Scummy, imo, but who am I to judge since I don't own any of those platforms.Interesting way to make people more interested in the One version instead of most buying it on the 360.

I can't Gamefly the master race version. =(Cool hopefully 360 people buy the master race version.
The tin-foil hat guy in me this is just a ploy to encourage people to make the XB1 jump.
I'm sure the delay is legit.
Clever girl.
Anything to get you to buy a one.
With this news, it's pretty safe to assume that Titanfall is xbone's system seller.
Now they're trying to make it seem more exclusive, makes sense. EA though does not make sense.
Respawn has to be kicking themselves for fucking themselves with this publisher after their past experiences.
The Xbox 360 version has always felt like a second though project.
So I'm not relays surprised by this, I was more surprised that they planned to release it simultaneously.
I know your all jumping on the "it's to sell x1's" bandwagon, but I'm pretty sure most 360 owners will be able to contain their excitement for 2 extra weeks over dropping $500.
Wait, really? Huh. I'm getting all my dates confused...

I'm not surprised by the delay It'll give Bluepoint the chance to polish the game up since most of the dev focus WAS on the Xbox One (and PC) version.
I hope Respawn doesn't get too pissed off because there could just another mass amount of people quitting. I'd really love for Titanfall too be a healthy franchise with a lot of post launch support.
So you're saying that people who own both consoles were interested to buy the last-gen version? Outside of a small group who already planned on buying the 360 version to play with friends. You might want to take of your tinfoil hat.Interesting way to make people more interested in the One version instead of most buying it on the 360.
What possible touch ups can be done in two weeks? Aren't the discs already being pressed at that time? If so, they could just release the "touch ups" as a patch post release.
Pretty obvious this is an attempt by EA and MS to push people to buy the XB1 version of the game.
Let's be real, they've delayed it to entice people towards paying $500+ for it on Xbone. They would've just put out a launch day patch otherwise.
I mean when the news that Microsoft secured Titanfall 1 lifetime exclusivity broke, the tweets coming out of Respawn employees were quite clearly laced with an undertone of regret. It was actually kind of sad to watch, because they had walked into a very similar trap as to one they originally left to pursue this project and that company.
I am sure since Microsoft is paying mucho dinero for this shit and will offset the losses of this particular game (although assuredly not repaying the damage done to brand growth), they have security in knowing they are a financial success for their first game. That said they must be a little apprehensive about the future now.
Now they're trying to make it seem more exclusive, makes sense. EA though does not make sense.
Console makers have largely deemed the PC to be a non-threat. Like with Sony getting "console debuts" for a lot of indie games.heh "Also on PC"
Bluepoint surely did not have anything to do with the Xbone version. They deal with ports. Correct me if I am wrong.
No they are saying the people wanting to get titanfall on 360 that are impatient might just buy a x1 for it with their tax money, instead of waiting 2 weeks. So when are we going to see some 360 footage?

I don't doubt they're regretting it. When you think about it, for a game that's garnered such positive feedback from players and that seems like such a breath of fresh air for the FPS genre, there's a hell of a lot of negativity surrounding it. 99% of which stems from Microsoft and EA's involvement with it.I mean when the news that Microsoft secured Titanfall 1 lifetime exclusivity broke, the tweets coming out of Respawn employees were quite clearly laced with an undertone of regret. AlphaDump said:That or they want to dodge the launch review cycle. It could possibly be a shit show by comparison to the One version. People will read One reviews at launch and project onto the 360 as the same. If the reviews are good, that is.
It's still doesn't seem right that Vince would not sign anything less than a rock solid contract. Especially after Activision. Just seems like some of the pieces to this puzzle are still rather enigmatic.

I doubt they payed for it to be delayed, both versions are benefits for MS.
Both versions are not a benefit. They want to sell the xbox one version the most. The 360 version can sell whatever. All they care about is moving xbox one hardware.
That's not how you spell "to push consumers towards the Xbox One version of the game".
This. It's being delayed in purpose.
Very sly, Microsoft.
Yeah, that's highly unlikely especially for a two week delay. The people that do that are most likely already planning on buying one.No they are saying the people wanting to get titanfall on 360 that are impatient might just buy a x1 for it with their tax money, instead of waiting 2 weeks.
LoL. It's so transparent what's happening here. Do MS/EA think we're that gullible?
