Damn ! fleet footers , not again . In beta MP no one could do that but here we are again with some jumping and shooting SOBs .
 
So changing just one or 2 things will solve most of the issues for some of you.Either the health, running speed, health regen, blind fire, or the damage done by weapons.
 
I think if ND fixes blind fire and melee problem and extend the hit box we could have something special here

Noticed that the first time I looked at all the boosters. I am not pleased. Thankfully, I haven't run into anyone using it yet. More worried about this then the supposed melee problems.
 
so I unlocked Flynn's M9 collecting treasures but the weapon is no where to be found in the loadout menu... is this a bug or simply the weapon isn't in this build and will be unlocked for retail?

This thread is hilarious so far... Pretty sure you guys take the 'change is BAD!!' idea to a whole new level.

My impressions go up later today. Been playing this beta way too damn much and I need my sleep.

Probably will be available for retail. What game mode did you have to play for those treasures?
 
Also, this looks way better than I remember the beta looking. I was pretty underwhelmed by the beta but this looks excellent.

Downloading 3GB should take around 10-15hrs max with 128KB/s.
 
Just played a few games and this is possibly the least amount of fun I have ever had playing an online game.

The health is super low and the Ak-47 is super inaccurate, almost comes down to luck if you even get a kill. Combine that with the large open areas and you have a game that is not fun to play at all.

The beta was better but thats not saying much.

If ND thinks that casual gamers will like this they are kidding themselves.
 
LoL, we've got a buncha people bitching about the players being bullet sponges that take 10+ bullets to take down and now someone says the health is super low. Next patch is gonna take 2 RPGs and a melee combo to take out a player.

Health has nothing to do with the core problem. The core problem is definitely how effective run/gun is now, which is a result of the traversal speed.

I'll elaborate more on this later.
 
I'm working on dribling right now , come on its like MADDEN 12 . you can drible melee attackers easily and then its your turn to hit n run ;)

Heath is the problem, they have tried to compensate for low health by increasing weapon recoil this makes the gunplay feel like complete trash because its half luck if you get a kill or not sometimes, especially once the distance gets over ten metres.

In uncharted 2 you could use the AK effectively at mid range if you controlled your bursts but here it feels lke its outside of my control.

Players work out pretty quick that its more effective to run up to players and whack them in the face and blind fire to get a kill.

If health was higher, speed was slightly slower and guns were a bit more accurate the game would play alot better.

In the state it is now it is just not fun at all.

The thing I hate is AK47 clip into the enemy < than 3 bullets from a hand gun + melee

They need to tone down melee, it's fucking crazy

I mean the video as retarded as it sounds, is half right, you will just have people abuse the thing that gets them the kill fastest

Also I have no clue why there isn't a delay to roll, there should be a 3 second penalty/rule to it, I mean I have seen a guy roll 5+ times and survive when 3+ have been shooting straight at him

Most guys know where the top weapons are and placed, and somehow timed it to when it spawns. Same dude got out the grenade launcher 3+ times, got his 2+ kills and kept moving

Also Power Play is still broken. We were up 5 25-20, PP goes into effect and the team catches up and takes the lead, then later on it's 27-35 them, we get no Power play, and we finish the game 47-50, we never got any, go figure

TL;DR

It should not take a whole fucking clip to kill someone, I'm sorry
You should use your roll to escape danger, but you should be penalized for it, not keep rolling away to your hearts desire

Health is low? What!? Health is fine the way it is. Any higher and we would be heading into Gears territory. The GMAL, and M9 are plenty accurate. It's the AK that has the crazy recoil.

And in all my time playing UC2 I've never had to burst fire the AK. You can kill effectively with the AK full auto at mid to long range. I don't know what you're on about here.

omfg at you complainers. I've been killed plenty of times by people who aim - and reading these stupid comments I have to wonder why the play experience is so different. I've been killed by guys from across the room and there's no way that happens unless they aim and shoot. Plenty of deaths like this. Shot from across the trucks during the plane start level/train level etc. Killed by a guy who's on the tower in the yemen stage with weapons which aren't sniper rifles.

I have this feeling some of you are like those guys online who yell bullshit everytime you die.


and the most amusing thing about all these comments about the weapons - is that you can upgrade them with mods. So accuracy + speed + how it plays out is all augmented by boosters+mods. The comments about dying/weapons etc don't seem to take into account the upgrade/booster system and that mechnically, the game experience does shift as you level up. Some of the weapons have increased rate of fire mods.
 
U3 multi is shit. I've been playing U2 multi for the last couple months (finally made it to level 50). Everything about U2 multi is perfect... especially in the lab where there are no boosters. U3 takes a long steaming piss all over it (or us rather). I think it's guerrilla piss, or maybe cod piss.

Seriously though... I was going to buy this game... now I'm gonna rent it for the single player and continue playing the superior U2 multiplayer.

I'm pretty fucking disappointed. As others have said, even the U3 beta was better.

while this U3 MP is worse than beta it is still miles ahead of U2,this one at least has no bunny hopping in it and fleet footer are not invincible
