I honestly rely on audio cues as much as, if not more than, visuals.
Sound is a must. Cranked up, it adds a lot to the experience.
 
Does anyone feel you level up too quickly? It was almost every other match that I was reaching a new level. I hope its just accelerated like BF3 beta and slowed for the retail game.

They changed the rate you level from the beta, 35 in this is between 24-25 from the beta.

Don't be surprised if they ape prestige so those who need to constantly fill bars will have something to do.
 
Went to subway for this today, got a drink. Kid behind counter acted like he never heard of it. Pointed to the sign above his head for it. Oh we get those in thursday...sigh I tried.

The codes are on the cups, stickers for footlongs, and sun chips. I had to convince the lady at another Subway today to go in the back and find the stickers and cups

He half assed looked in the back nothing, all the chips were old as hell and no stickers on the footlongs. Dont think the store cares at all.
 
I've seen this complaint a thousand times - Why the fuck do you care if people are blind firing?

The key to fixing the game was to nerf blind firing, and to improve scoped shooting. ND has done that, but that still won't stop people from blind firing. People need to get over it. You can't stop people from spamming fireballs in Street Fighter, and you won't stop people from running around and hip firing.

Instead adjust the way you play to a more aggressive style. The old beta was fun, but even I'll admit it, it felt too slow and sluggish. This feels nice, fast, and frenetic.

I will admit, sometimes the hit boxes are off, but for the most part, its fun. Goddamit people, let it go.

I love them.

I just played a match on U3, and it felt like I was in a warzone. Plus its wireless and has a mic.

And has some settings like volume control, and you can also set it to decrease game sound and just have the mic on, or vice versa which I think is an amazing feature.
 
Is anyone having good success with the G-MAL in this game?

In the summer beta it was my favorite gun to use. Back then, people were even complaining that it was overpowered and calling it the GOD-MAL.

Now, it feels like a struggle just to get a single kill with it. Kind of feels like a totally useless weapon unless your target is standing still.

I can't tell what has changed....are the hitboxes just a lot smaller? is it the faster pace/movement making it harder to hit moving targets? is it an auto-aim issue? was the stopping power gimped?

whatever the case, I think I vastly prefer the so-called "overpowered" G-MAL to what it is now. At least it rewarded good aim.
 
M9 >>>>> AK47

G-MAL is a POS and so is every pistol. M9 is the only way to play. It kind of feels like the AK47 from the beta, or how I remember it felt. Maybe I'm wrong, but it kicks ass and I can plow through sprinters no problem.

The gun before didn't reward good aim. It rewarded you will kills due to the gift of auto aim.

I did just fine with it and can beat people up close vs. AKs and M9s.

I have been using it for the past 2-3 days. It definitely has a steeper learning curve than the AK47, that much is certain.

Yeah, when they are standing still, its an easy kill. Moving is much harder, but doable. You kinda have to learn to lead, because the bullets have a travel time as well.

I am ok with it. The key I think is that unless they are super far away, do not scope in. You will have a better time just using L1.

Exactly. Instead of bitching about sprinters, you just bust out your M9 and maul em down.

I agree. The M9 is a whole different beast from the other guns in the game.
 
Honestly, an M9 with L1 held, is more effective than running and gunning. It literally fucks people up.

Para9 and AK47 are shit.
 
What about the KAL-7? The only problem I've run into using it was running out of ammo but that's why I have the micro.

KAL-7 is unstoppable if all you do is run and gun. Good luck aiming with it. It's the sprinter's dream.

Wrong, wrong, wrong.

The only key to fixing the game was and will always be (as long as the game continues to be as it is) to nerf the sprinting speed.

Who cares if one less shot hits when you're hipfiring. Holding R1 and pressing Square still guarantees a kill. In the beta you had time to aim and shoot down people who were trying to sprint at you.

I won all of the 10 games.
 
The Kal sucks so bad when aiming it's ridiculous, 13 or 14 bullets straight to the chest to kill someone.

It's like the SAS shotgun in U2: godly when blindfiring, absolutely useless when aiming.

Pretty much but now that you can sprint your way anywhere in three seconds, blindfiring is better than ever. They should even it out by making it so that you come at a complete stop when being fired upon. STOPPING POWER FTW!!!!1!1 lol
 
I've been owning with the G-MAL as of late..I think the hitboxes are a lot smaller though. Its not the beta God-Mal, but I think its pretty balanced now. They just need to fix the hit boxes a bit maybe?
 
I've been playing with the G-MAL all this time. It certainly feels different when compared to the beta, but I just can't seem to do any better with the horrid AK or the M9.
 
if I unlock another treasure game starts freezing up on match starts and ends. And progress does not get saved.

Unlocked the silver thing for marlowe para, didn't save anything from that point.

Reloaded game due to constant freezes, gold thing unlocked, same shit happening.

I have 3/3,0/3,0/3,3/3,1/2,2/3,3/3,3/4,2/2,0/2,2/2,1/2 treasures in top-down order

I would stop playing for now if I were you. As soon as you start breaking into the leaderboards, experience framerate drops/freezes, and stuff stops saving, you're close to getting your stats reset.

I've become a grenade first person. The other guys wastes time trying to throw back and I shoot and kill them or they shoot at me and they get blown up.

Yea, the throwback is superior to trying to roll away most of the time. I just wish the triangle indicator was bigger.

Revenge silver is you throw a grenade when you die, even if you don't have one. I wonder what the gold will be - instant explosion? lol
 
The lag I've been experiencing is making the game unplayable. Seriously when I hit some one twice with a punch, then they run around blindfire kill me, and then they fall down dead from my punch, it's just ridiculous and stupid.

So those who lost their progress won't get their stuff back? That is straight up bullshit. I hope it doesn't happen to me or I'll be pissed.
 
Why the fuck is it that when you drop the idol in Plunder or Treasure Hunter, you're automatically equipped with your pistol? This has screwed me over so many times. the pistols in this game suck. Why can't I just have my long range weapon equipped when I drop the idol? So dumb IMO. :|
 
Trying my hand at it again after the disastrous first night. Glad to see ND's matchmaking is still horrifically bad. This game just isn't fun. How could they fuck up soooo badly?
