Uncharted 3: Subway's Deception Multiplayer Discussion [New Patch Released]

Highrise was my favorite map in U2 and this might be a bit premature, but it's not much fun with powerplays coming on all the time (and a shitty team where the second best player scores 4-12). :I
Also, where is the chopper?

Not sure how you feel about boosters and weapon mods but isnt that what the Hardcore playlist is for?

It's not that i necessarily dislike powerplays per se, but for a mazelike map like High Rise, which has so many routes where you can surprisingly bump into someone, double damage and exposed can be very crippling, even more so than on the other maps. I guess i'll just have to put up my tent for the duration of the powerplays in question. Maybe i'll change my mind tomorrow when i get the chance to play it with a GAF team, i usually did really good on the map in U2, often being the top scorer, so maybe i'll just have to adapt my style for this map to the new mechanics. Hardcore on the map should be good though, but i don't want to play Hardcore all the time.

-Fixed a bug that could cause the player to lock up accessing the Friends list, or when a Friend joined them

-Removed Team Objective and Plunder kills from being tabulated against the Kills/Deaths Leaderboard (all kill/death stats are still kept locally for the player)

-Leaderboards will be completely reset soon to coincide with the above change

-Microphone icon will now appear in the Multiplayer lobby to indicate who is using a mic

-Fixed a bug in which switched control schemes were not being saved properly

-Players will no longer able to join a party that is in the Find Game function or actively in a game (was causing various issues with players not being pulled into games properly)

-European and American players will be re-integrated into the same play lists with this patch

They tweak the gameplay through live sync. If its anything big like a bug fix it'll be through a patch. Don't expect this to change the gameplay.

/Whole team is on railway tracks capturing hill

/Train comes and takes out ENTIRE team.

/Shakes head.

I edited to put it on youtube, but cinema didn't capture the actual train, its just a ghost train. Also, apparently, the clip was too short. Then I lost interest. Mehhh.

Molten Ruins (Flooded Ruins with fire instead of rain) was also added.

This game doesn't have any auto aim like UC2, so it's always going to some effort to aim. I think it's easier with the M9 because there is less recoil and the rate of fare seems a bit faster compared to the AK.

Villains skins > heroes!

I have no problems with the M9. You have to adjust to the degree of auto-aim it has, eventually you'll get the hang of it.

It's a glitch where the team with the biggest party will always be the villains.

Fuck it, if we get a good amount of new maps, plus it is easy to convert and insert old U2 maps, I would take it. Why would anyone complain about this?

I'm done. If people who I'm CLEARLY shooting at while struggling to manage the recoil aren't going to die, then fuck it. Once the big mp games drop, no ones going to touch this POS anyway. Free codes is the only reason people are giving this the time of day anyway.

No, I am not one of those "big mp game" players. I came in expecting the same awesomeness from the beta.

What? No. Big MP games came and went during U2's time as well, and most of us stuck with it for a long time. If I recall correctly, player numbers were pretty much stable for a really long period of time.

Edit: The only U2 map I wouldn't welcome is Trainwreck. For some reason, the game had the annoying tendency of hard freezing on me on that map, in the same spot every single time.

I'm just being a dick because I just don't understand ND. Why fuck with a winning formula. First UC2, now this. Disgusting.

I understand why it sucks from a MP standpoint. I dunno, I just have fond memories of that map for some reason.

Agreed 100%. Unfortunately I'm not sure how many people are actually aware of this, or if most people are even looking at web stats. Still seeing a lot objective games played as TDM by a lot of people.

I'm surprised you guys posted the patch notes, but ignored one important detail in another thread ND had.

There was some miscommunication and a blog post was authored which mentioned that there would be an increase in the level cap along with new maps.

The new maps will still be deployed later today, but there will be no level cap increase during the Subway/Uncharted 3 Multiplayer Experience. Sorry for the confusion, hope this clears things up.
 
Why don't grenades kill people that have the riot shield? I threw three grenades with the quick boom booster and the user didn't die. Wtf. It only 'knocks' them, but doesn't kill them even when the grenades are on their back.

It does kill them. you must have encountered a bug/glitch.
