Vox: Leaked regulation: Trump plans to roll back Obamacare birth control mandate

The party of fiscal responsibility would rather pay for an impoverished kid and mother's food stamps and welfare for 20 years, plus $30k a year to imprison the kid when he likely turns to a life of crime because of his shitty socioeconomic circumstances, plus additional support for the mother when she's not able to get out of poverty because of having to raise a child...

...rather than $30 for a 100 pack of condoms.

They don't want to pay for those other things either. They'd idealistically let them die in the streets without any intervention because that's the way it's supposed to be and others should not be burdened with it. Ironically very Darwinian of them.

And always remember he actually got the majority white women vote by an almost 10% or more margin than Hillary Clinton. More white women wanted Donald Trump as President than potential first woman US President Hillary Clinton.

I mean this is what the vast majority of white women voted for in the country

The irony is this will be blamed on Obama and the Dems. The talking point will be "Obamacare, legislation the Dems sponsored mind you, took away birth control from you"

Trump's base consumes Pro Trump media so this talking point sticks in their minds. It would be nice if this administration stops all hostile legislation towards heavily effected populations of the American people.

This is definitely terrible, but the UK is one of the few countries that has no room to talk. Not when you currently have the NHS, but instead of improving it, you guys keep voting in the party that wants to completely dismantle it and make things worse for everyone, women included. You have it good right now, but you're actively going backwards yourselves anyway.

If Labour exceeds all expectations of the upcoming election and pushes for restoring funding to the NHS, it's one thing, but otherwise you guys are going down the same road as us with the way things are heading. Shit like this will very much be the next step if Tories successfully privatize the NHS (especially since they won't have to worry about lots of those pesky little EU regulations any longer, what with Brexit and all) and you're fooling yourself if they won't manage to find some way to sink that low.

Just look at where things are now in the US as a warning sign for what's next in your own future if that isn't nipped in the bud ASAP.

I can't tell if this post is a subliminal suggestion to vote Labour or if it's just your 2 cents. I don't see how any modern society can be against contraception without blatantly citing outdated religious values.

As much as I don't like the idea of the privatisation of the NHS, it's over the top to consider even for a second that it would mean going to US levels of health care, with ACA in place or not.

The "abolish the NHS" rhetoric is still rhetoric, whether the Tories are gutting it or not. A lot of what people get under the NHS is treatment at private facilities (that the NHS will pay for).

Women can be enslaved as Handmaidens and there will still be people content to wash their hands of the issue, because "well, that's what some of them voted for..."
