Spies of Warsaw - BBC Four/America

Adapted by renowned Emmy-winning writers Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais, the miniseries follows Colonel Jean-Francois Mercier (David Tennant), a decorated war hero of the 1914 war, in the years leading up to the Second World War as he's drawn into a world of abduction, betrayal and intrigue in the diplomatic salons and back alleys of Warsaw. At the same time, the handsome aristocrat finds himself in a passionate love affair with Anna (Janet Montgomery), a Parisian lawyer for the League of Nations.

Their complicated love affair intensifies as German tanks drive through the Black Forest. Spies of Warsaw, set in Poland, Paris, London and Berlin, combines historical, intelligent narratives, interlaced with flawed, romantic and compelling characters.

Washington Heights - MTV

"Washington Heights" shines a light on the vibrant and diverse New York neighborhood of Washington Heights, following nine best friends from the area. Together, this compelling group of friends attempts to navigate the obstacles that stand in the way of their individual pursuits, which include fashion, music, baseball and poetry. Although they're not all blood related, they still consider each other family, as every setback, celebration and next step on the road to success brings them closer together.

1600 Penn - NBC

The Gilchrists are just the average American family dealing with all the everyday issues, like a grown kid who's forced to move back home, teenagers who are smarter than their teachers and a stepmom (Jenna Elfman) desperately trying to win over the kids. They're loving, fun and a little crazy. In other words, just like everyone else - with one exception: they live in a very special house. The White House! Whether it's entertaining foreign dignitaries, holding secret cabinet meetings or putting out fires - figuratively and sometimes literally - there's never a dull moment in the Gilchrist White House. For example, the First Son (Josh Gad) is one of the administration's biggest liabilities but also the glue that holds this family together. The President (Bill Pullman) knows too well that the only thing harder than being Head of State is being head of the family.

Banshee - Cinemax

From the creator of 'True Blood,' 'Banshee' stars Antony Starr as Lucas Hood, an ex-con and master thief who assumes the identity of the sheriff of Banshee, Pennsylvania, where he continues his criminal activities, even as he’s hunted by the shadowy gangsters he betrayed years earlier.The series also stars Ivana Milicevic as Carrie Hopewell, Hood's former partner in crime, who now lives in Banshee under an assumed identity with her new family, who know nothing of her past; Ulrich Thomsen as Proctor, an intimidating, wealthy local businessman who believes he is above the law; Frankie Faison as Sugar Bates, a wise, powerful former boxer and ex-con who now owns the local watering hole; Rus Blackwell as Gulf War hero Gordon Hopewell, Banshee's district attorney, who is married to Carrie; and Ben Cross as Mr. Rabbit, a ruthless Ukrainian gangster who has been hunting Lucas and Carrie, his former top thieves, for 15 years.

The Carrie Diaries - The CW

"The Carrie Diaries" takes place in 1984, where life is not easy for 16-year-old Carrie Bradshaw. Since their mother passed away, Carrie's younger sister Dorritt is more rebellious than ever, and their father Tom is overwhelmed with the responsibility of suddenly having to care for two teenage girls on his own. Carrie's friends - sweet, geeky Mouse, sarcastic and self-assured Maggie and sensitive Walt - make life bearable, but a suburban life in Connecticut isn't doing much to take her mind off her troubles. And even though the arrival of a sexy new transfer student named Sebastian brings some excitement to Carrie's world, she is struggling to move on from her grief. So when Tom offers Carrie the chance to intern at a law firm in Manhattan, she leaps at the chance. Carrie's eyes are opened wide at the glamour and grit of New York City - and when she meets Larissa, the style editor for Interview magazine, she's inspired by the club culture and unique individuals that make up Larissa's world. Continuum - Syfy

The time-traveling police drama Continuum stars Rachel Nichols as Kiera Cameron, a cop from the future who finds herself trapped in the present day. When a group of fanatical terrorists escapes their planned execution in 2077 by vaulting back in time to 2012, they inadvertently sweep along Kiera, a dedicated City Protective Services officer. With unexpected assistance from teen tech genius Alec Sadler, played by Erik Knudsen, Kiera infiltrates the local police department and forms an uneasy alliance with her new partner, detective Carlos Fonnegra, portrayed by Victor Webster. Though desperate to get back to her husband and son, Kiera concentrates on bringing down the terrorists before they change the course of history.

This hilarious half-hour series stars Damien Dante Wayans, Craig Wayans, George O. Gore II and Tatyana Ali. During the show, viewers will see the good, the funny and the ugly as Damien Dante and Craig emerge from the long shadows of their uncles to carve out their own paths to stardom in Hollywood.

Kroll Show - Comedy Central

Nick Kroll comes to Comedy Central in several forms! From an inappropriate basketball ref to a renowned canine plastic surgeon and the fabulous " Fabrice Fabrice ," Kroll weaves his extensive cast of characters into the new sketch, pop culture weekly series "Kroll Show." A fresh take on sketch comedy, " Kroll Show " showcases Kroll's incredible ability to create memorable and hilarious characters that pop off the screen.

King of the Nerds - TBS

Hosted by actors Robert Carradine and Curtis Armstrong, King of the Nerds is the ultimate nerd-off. The series will follow 11 fierce competitors from across the nerd spectrum as they set out to win $100,000 and be crowned the greatest nerd of them all. TBS will pair King of the Nerds on Thursday nights with the network's chart-topping telecasts of The Big Bang Theory.

Legit - FX

In "Legit", Jim Jefferies is an edgy, foul-mouthed stand-up comedian from Australia, in his mid-30s and living in LA, struggling to make his life and career more "legit," only to find it a difficult, uncomfortable uphill struggle every step of the way. Jim is encouraged in his quest by Steve (Dan Bakkedahl), his neurotic best friend and roommate, a cyber-law library salesman who struggles to stay on his feet in the wake of a divorce, and Steve's brother, Billy (DJ Qualls), who suffers from advanced staged Muscular Dystrophy and is confined to a wheelchair.

Newsreaders - Adult Swim

"Newsreaders" is an absurd take on the television news magazine format, a show that goes behind the stories nobody else thinks are stories - because they're not. Newsreaders is the news magazine with more gratuitous nudity than any other news magazine.* *Except for Newsjuggs. Starring Mather Zickel as host Louis La Fonda, in its premiere season Newsreaders will also feature guest stars Katie Aselton, Ed Begley Jr., Lizzy Caplan, Garret Dillahunt, Dave Foley, Rachel Harris, Dennis Hayesbert, Tom Lennon, Joey McIntyre, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Dan Rather, Brandon Routh, and Jane Seymour.

Ripper Street - BBC America

In the aftermath of the Jack the Ripper murders, can anyone keep order in the blood stained London Streets? In addition to the episode's featured company, representatives from three guest companies from related industries will have the opportunity to make an on-the-spot offer to one of the candidates, who must decide if they will accept the offer or remain in the running for the featured job. The featured companies and broadcast order will be announced at the start of the New Year.

Immortalized - AMC

Celebrity Diving - ABC

"Celebrity Diving" will feature celebrities competing in a diving competition in front of a live audience. Each week, stars will perform dives, such as backflips and somersaults, from various heights that will increase in difficulty as the season progresses in the hopes of impressing a panel of judges and home viewers.

Similar to "Dancing with the Stars", a professional diving instructor will give each celebrity several weeks of training prior to the start of the competition."Celebrity Diving" will feature a three-person judging panel. While the third member of the panel has yet to be revealed, two of the judges will be legendary diver and four-time Olympic gold medalist Greg Louganis, and David Boudia, who won the gold medal for diving at the 2012 London Olympic Games.

Orphan Black - BBC America

The Goodwin Games - Fox

Derek - Channel 4/Netflix

Ricky Gervais plays 49 year old Derek Noakes, a care worker in a home for the elderly; he began working there three years ago. He is vulnerable because of his childlike naiveté and lack of intelligence. He is ridiculed and ostracised, as well as being marginalised by mainstream society because of his social awkwardness, unattractiveness and lack of inhibitions. Derek says it is more important to be kind than to be clever or good-looking. Many media sources describe him as autistic.

Hemlock Grove - Netflix

“Hemlock Grove” starts with the body of a young girl, mangled and murdered in the shadow of the former Godfrey steel mill. A single-camera, documentary-style show in the manner of the acclaimed feature films of Christopher Guest, this new series stars Chris O’Dowd as 30-year-old Tom Chadwick, who recently lost his job and girlfriend, and has an unsure sense of his own identity. When he inherits a mysterious box of belongings from a great aunt he never met, Tom starts investigating his family lineage and uncovers a whole world of unusual stories and characters, acquiring a growing sense of who he and his real family are.

I think both Cult and The Following will be really interesting. The Following just looks really, really good. I'm interested in Cult since the CW's been on fire lately, and after watching the trailer, it just looks so weird... the sunglasses make me think of They Live, but if it was some kind of paranoid creepy drama instead of a badass sci-fi movie.

Edit: Huh! I didn't know Cult is created by the dude who created Farscape. Reading a few interviews, this sounds even cooler than I thought. Mind control, paranoia, insanity, right up my alley.
