Ya, I know. I just meant that his main weaknesses are his durability and compassion, which when combined with self-doubt or any wide variety of distraction allow him to have an arguably convincing fight with just about anyone with a power. It makes him a versatile and an exciting character to write for.
This is what's been missing from the Spider-Man films too. I know they don't want to get too viscerally violent but it's been sorely lacking in having Spider-Man and his rogues trading straight up punches and beating each other.Oh shit son

Fun fact about the venom symbiote
Eddie Brock was doing some powerlifting shit when he got the Venom symbiote. I think he reached something like a 700lb bench press.
800lbs, the handbooks mentioned he was a freak for reaching enhanced human level just by working out

In Spider-Man films I don't think he's generally actually hurt anyone. The most brutal fight was the end of SM1 but that was Peter getting destroyed before Norman killed himself.

jeeze, that Stan Carter story was heavy. Never read the issues, but the synopsis was really unfortunate.
I like stories like that though, and it's probably why I've always liked Spidey.

Spidey is pretty OP. Not only one of the smartest, most agile, but straight up stronger than just about any street level hero. Captain America, Daredevil, Moon Knight, all them dudes get squashed.

Has he beaten Black Cat in a fight before? I think the bad luck powers complicates things; I also don't know if Octavius's sucker punch counts.
Pretty sure it counts. It was also hilarious cuz it was out of the blue and it happened so fast.

Didn't he have cancer that affected his adrenal glands? Like he was constantly receiving massive doses of adrenaline? Which is exactly why the symbiote loved him so much? Explains why he'd be so strong.

A bit off-topic, but the symbiote is resistant to the bad luck power. Black Cat got a nice beating from Venom the first time she encountered him and the bad luck did nothing, receiving a direct punch to the face.
One problem is that non-comics Spider-Man is too kid friendly, as it probably is Marvel's biggest merchandise seller. I think that 90's crappy animation did not even let him pull direct punches and in every other media appearance he has never gotten into "Pissed off Spidey" mode (Which was ridiculous in the Sam Raimi movies). I guess it's the same thing as with Tony Stark drinking a lot but never becoming an alcoholic. Or Hank Pym never beating the Wasp in the MCU.
Also, no one ever used real guns in that show.

Spidey was never really presented as fragile. His main failings were inexperience and a selfish need to prove himself. (In those early days, he beat up the Xmen and the Fantastic 4.)
Also they used to routinely point out that his spider strength resulted in super dense muscles that when Spidey didn't opt to roll with a punch was like punching steel for normal folks.

Would Spiderman win against Black Panther?
The only way Black Panther would be able to win is if you gave him and only him prep time since he would be able to bring a lot of gadgets to the battle to level the playing field.
Spider-man is simply faster and stronger then Black Panter so in a straight fight he'd win 9/10 times
