Why are you guys making a folder for N64 games?
Is there something I should know about?...

Ummm, because he doesnt play his Wii u he doesn't notice the dust accumulating. I'm sure his other systems enjoy frequent dusting because he frequently plays them.Contrary to bullshit internet posts, not playing your consoles does not let dust settle faster.
Clean your goddamn house.
Not really. Why are you guys making a folder for N64 games?

I can't check for myself right now either but asked around and apparently the update is 410MB.
If your HDD is about to die, buy a new HDD ASAP instead of asking for a band-aid to your problem.Yeah! Finally there will be order in my start screen!
They have to include one thing though and do it fast:
Let me move Savegames from the HDD to internal space without moving the whole game!
My HDD is about to die and I will lose every savegame of every game except the one that will fit on the internal space![]()
Hmmm i seem to be the only WiiU owner with no need for folders :/
Truly, the Wii U, like the PS3 before it, has no games. Nintendo and Sony are comrades in eternal shame.I can't believe you people have enough stuff on your systems to necessitate folders. I picked up my Wii U for the first time in about a month the other day and had to remove a layer of dust. But hey, I'm glad they're trying to make their system better. Maybe in 10 years they'll have a unified account system and an interface that doesn't take 15-20 seconds to get into and out of system settings.

I didn't really have much of a need for any either, since I only had to scroll through two or so pages of stuff. I still think they are kinda neat because it let me throw a bunch of icons I don't use that often( mii maker, parental controls, health warnings etc) into one folderHmmm i seem to be the only WiiU owner with no need for folders :/
Is it available in europe? Can't seem to find the update here in the Netherlands.

I haven't played my PS3 since last year yet I manage to keep the dust off of it. Its not hard to keep your entertainment center clean. Its also not hard to lie about owning a system to try and justify making a snarky comment.

Installed the update, set up folders, started the YouTube app and the console hard locked during the initial loading splash screen.
Dat stability.
Is anyone able to connect to the eShop after the update? Whenever I try I get a Nintendo Network Privacy Policy agreement thing that fails to show up, due to not connecting to the server.
Everybody's excited for folders and I am too. But that download management thing seems like it could be useful. Especially in getting rid of that "download complete" notification every time I use the gamepad.

Folders are old hat. Now it's about the themes.
I have to burst the bubble, but N64 were never ever mentioned anywhere but this page. On the Japanese site (which in the end is the one that counts), it was never mentioned.
Also, see here the original VC-announcement in 2013. GBA only.

Edit: Just to make sure, the Japanese one as well: http://youtu.be/tHFAVdtk9E8?t=8m19s

Iwata announced N64 VC support in a Nintendo Direct in the middle of 2013.
Just to repost my position: Folders should have been here day one.
But now we can post dashboard screenshots and discuss every variations of ways to organize your games/apps/demos/VC and folder colors![]()
Waiting for that Nintendo dark theme.
Wrong. You can connect a second HDD to the Wii U and transfer between them.I already have a new one, but since the Wii U uses a proprietary data system I can't transfer my stuff, can I?
Fuck this shit. I like how Nintendo have completely crippled both my Wii U AND 3DS because it's not letting me reach the page to agree to the terms and conditions. I keep getting error code 022-2932.
Has nothing to do with the update. It was doing this to me beforehand.
Just have to wait it out. It's not like it stops us playing games.
