That's the second reference to Angry Joe directed towards me lol. Not sure if I should be flattered or not...
Bye
Not sure I care much. Didn't this guy get exposed multiple times for taking money from subscribers on broken promises?
Youtube really needs to rework their entire video flagging system, shit is beyond absurd at this point.
Wait, so you guys are telling me that they take down channels for trailers too?! Why!? Isn't that free publicity?! Will your game sell worse if they distributed a trailer? I don't get it, what's the reasoning behind this this!?
Elaborate, because that never happened.
He heard it from a friend, who heard it from a friend, who heard it from a friend, who heard it from a friend, who heard it from TheArchfiend and Asalieri.
This happens all the time. Back when I use to have a channel where I would record game footage I got so many even if the content is 100% my own. The biggest culprit was ign for me dunno why but I got so many from them
No it isn't. Up until today, the channel was making $288 to $2,700 a day in ads through YouTube.

I recently finished re-watching all the old vids he had up the other night, on a whim. Glad I did that now, cuz unfortunately, those may be tough to come by for a while...
It's too early for Aprils Fools YouTube. ><
Also, never even heard of this Irate guy. Just watched some videos. Wow is that just bad. Yeah, will be sticking with AVGN.
I just noticed that he'd be absolutely perfect for a Judge Dredd pre-quel
Sucks but will probably be resolved. I get copyright violations on my videos like every week
Thankfully the vast majority are just like "it's fine but we're going to put a 'buy' link in the description for the music used'". The ones that mute videos or actually copyright strike are actually insane.
but you post lewd videos!!
I can't say I liked AVGN, but it's shit like this that makes me wish there was a popular alternative to YouTube.
You know what's bullshit?
Needless to say, both examples were videos in the public domain.
The good news is that a lot of Internet reviewers have back-ups. James has Cinemassacre, Springboard and Blip. Angry Joe has his own site, Springboard and Blip as well.
The automated system for flagging stuff really needs to go. I remember when YouTube teamed with the Democrats to present the Democratic National Convention, then put up the First Lady's speech, only to have it immediately brought down by copyright claims from pretty much every news organization known to man.
Same thing happened with the Mars Rover landing stuff. NASA put it up, and all the news orgs robots flagged it as copyright violations.
Needless to say, both examples were videos in the public domain.
Why is it I never heard of this guy until two days ago and now all of a sudden his name is everywhere on here?

I thought DMCA claims were made under the threat of perjury? If you don't own what you're claiming that is. Or am I mistaken? There ought to be repercussions for making unsubstantiated copyright claims and exploiting DMCA against direct competitors.
I hope James discloses the source of the complaints so the internet can apply some mob justice, I have very little sympathy for corporations with legal departments that spend their day desperately looking for reasons to justify their presence.
