I don't know, am I imaging things, or has OOO just gone completely off-the-rails sociopathic? LSP has always been exceedingly self-involved, and PB a little strange, but things are getting weird with everyone else. Marceline and BMO are about the only people unaffected.

It just seems...different. On purpose? Or creative drift? Or maybe my imagination.

everything is mixing... Finn and PB are getting crazier, Cinnamonbun, Flame Princess are getting cooler, Jake is more laid back, Ice King is a freaking roller-coaster... Gunter is always amazing

FYI Adventure Time - Slumber Party Panic / Trouble in Lumpy Space is Free on Google Play.

(So is Regular Show - Journey to the Bottom of the Crash Pit)

Wow, having seen the replay of the LSP time travel episode, Johnny actually shows up in the world/plane of existence seen around the circle where the other little people are seen throughout the episode. First his head appears in the lower left corner and then his body appears and he uses the hands on his body to grab his head which he reattaches to his body (so thankfully he's "alive"). Then he watches the center circle area as Princess Bubblegum sends LSP back in time to erase her memories (initially he's reaching out to LSP) and once LSP leaves out the window Johnny lowers his head in sadness and the outer region of the circle fades to black (you can still see Johnny against the black background) and then Johnny fades away as Bubblegum takes a drink. Perhaps everyone else noticed this but I just saw it upon rewatching the episode and now seeing this it gives this episode more a closure to me (since I actually noticed what happened to Johnny) though it is a bit sadder since Johnny appears to be alive but stuck in this new existence and knows he has lost LSP with whom he had become fond.

.

You might want to spoiler that entire post for those who haven't seen the last episode yet..

I noticed immediately because i knew there had to be a reason for showing the episode in that strange circular mode so I was constantly checking out what was happening in the sidelines.

Guess I got lazy then :) I watched some of the other figures in the surrounding area but since they didn't seem to mean much so I just focused my attention on what was happening in the circle.
When I didn't notice Johnny in the periphery I wrongly assumed we were watching the proceeding in the circle from Johnny's perspective, i.e a first person view from Johnny. However since that was a guess and there wasn't anything to confirm it, it wasn't as satisfying as when I did actually notice Johnny in the space around the circle viewing the action within the circle.

Got no idea what I watched for the last 30 minutes.

Oh ok, I get it. Lemonhope
lived for 1000 years and became a hero or adventurer of some type, then went home to die..
i guess?

Wow... That was awesome. Bittersweet end though.

So after a thousand years the candy kingdom fell?

You may want to spoiler tag that

And...
Just because Candyopolis is in ruin doesn't mean the kingdom fell. It may have just been abandoned for something else.

That was about as bizarre as could be expected from a Lemon episode. The ending was 1000 years in the future, right?

Season finale next week.

BatDan

Bane? Get them on board, I'll call it in.
Wow, that was definitely one of the darkest episodes of the show yet.

Was that ending real? Is the Candy Kingdom truly going to fall in 1000 years? Shit, so many questions.

0_o shit , my mind is exploded

that ending tho, guess PB and her kingdom go down in 1000 years, or they moved due to those zombies/mutants

it'll be a bummer if thats the furthest we will ever see the timeline go

Yep, I assume, since lemonhope said something that he'll be back in a thousand years when he was tired of freedom.

Yep, when lemonhope was walking trough town it seemed that the candy castle was right in the middle. Did the candy kingdom sorta progressed or something? Idk kinda sad that Ooo seemed so desolated

I don't think this has been posted in here yet, but another season has been confirmed. I remember a while ago there was some speculation the show might be ending but fortunately it looks like that's not the case.

It was the candy castle in the middle, and at the beginning the giant tree that lemon hope sees It might be the tree where Finn and Jake live

well saw it again just for dat ending and I saw the candy kingdom right in the middle of that future city
Finn and Jakes tree house was that tree that shot up to the sky I think

now I wanna see a continuation to lemon hope in the future

Well, that was something. My 6 y/o daughter said she liked it, but didn't understand it. It looks like OOO is
going to have its own apocalypse.
How soon?

Things are getting kinda Grimm.

Woah...Adventure Time does Brazil...and that ending

EDIT: this looks like an idea someone had a long time ago before Adventure Time and was given the opportunity to tell it using the AT universe
I gotta imagine they are going to get a few complaints from parents about this one...AT has been VERY adult lately

I caught it immediately
when he dropped Lemonhope off at the same point he and PB were at, and then gave basically the same reason for not going any further.

So
that guy was totally PBubs in disguise wasn't it

I thought about that too, but when it wasn't revealed I just assumed they didn't intend to be that clever or subtle. But since others have pointed it out... hmm, perhaps it was? Seemed almost too convenient of an appearance.

And perhaps Peebs realized that what Lemonhope really needed was the subtle hand of a father figure that nudged him at his own pace instead of the forceful nagging mother figure she initially presented to him.

Yeah, seemed obvious but I'm curious how she pulled that off. She went full Davey. Nice song at the end. Bit of a downer, however.

I guess
Ooo is doomed to repeat the mistakes of the past, judging by that ending. Fortunately, it'd be after most the inhabitants we know and love had long since perished. Even PBubs, since I doubt she'd give up the Candy Kingdom (Metropolis?) without a fight.

We've known about Season 6 for quite a while, since January of 2013. One of the storyboard artists confirmed that they'd started working on it last July, too. I think people were afraid that Adventure Time wouldn't make it into its 7th Season due to that dumb rumor.

And here I thought cloud guy was your basic "finding God/spirituality" theme. What were the obvious clues to being PB (I won't be able to rewatch at all today)?

I was falling asleep and didn't actually see the end of the episode and even I still got that! :p

He was pink, and he said the exact same thing about getting too close to the castle that PB had said earlier. I actually expected Lemonhope to have a moment of realization reaction to it but it never happened.

Man I hope the Cloud dude isn't
PB in disguise
. It makes all the interactions between him and Lemonhope come off as disingenuous and dishonest instead of the earnest adventures of a boy trying to learn his role in the world.

Lemonhope came back and saved the Lemon Kingdom in like 3 minutes flat :p Of course, the episode wasn't about the Lemongrab vs. Lemonhope confrontation but rather, again, Lemonhope's search for purpose. I felt this was a very strong two-parter and continues to show why Adventure Time is so far ahead of so many cartoons. So much said with not that much used :) Hopefully the season finale next week ends the season on a high note.

I don't think the guy is PB in disguise, he mentions that he and lemonhope have been on the cloud for at least 2 weeks. No way PB would stay away from the kingdom for so long.

Great episode, yet another "WTF" situation.

I was of the opinion that it was PB in disguise during the episode as well. They also looked a lot like Starchy.

Also, cloud guy speaks German at one point. "its all in deinem Kopf."

PB is known for throwing in German words here and there, isn't she?
