This has to be getting announced and released soon if it's up on SEN already. I hope it's summer and not an attempt to flesh out the fall lineup.

Im hoping its asap personally. Got a quarter way through the game before my ps3 conked out. Itching to restart it

Yeah, about one hour long without rushing it on Normal.

Bullshit. Complete misinformation.

The single player DLC took me over 2hrs going straight through and most reviews rank the length at around the 3hr mark. A speedrun would take around an hour sure but not a casual play through.

That's like saying The Last of Us is an 8hr game. It could be beaten in 8hrs but 99% of players would take at least 12 first time through.

Infamous: Second Son went up for preorder about a month before it came out, so I'm hoping for this game in May.

Oh man that would be funny..

TLOU releases on PS3 and becomes GOTY

One year later....

TLOU releases on PS4 and again becomes GOTY

We're gonna need Port of the Year awards soon.

The silence is deafening from Sony.

They know that we all know. Holding this back to be announced at an event would be such a disappointment.

Just go all out with a media blowout.

Insane For Sony
If anyone from ND is reading this. Please leave the option to limit the framerate to 30, even if you can achieve rock solid 60. I've seen what UC3 looks like running at 60, and I have to say it looks weird, as if the animations weren't really good enough to look believable at that high framerate. I suspect TLOU will have the same problem, not to mention the smoothnss the 60FPS brings would work against the grungy motion blur the game has and the whole dilapidated feel of the game.

Then again, I don't know... 60 might make it more real life-like which could look cool too, as the reality is kind of what the game is going for anyway.

Sony's behavior with regards to this is very unlike the rest of the company, which seems to be very open and forthcoming with their audience. And given that I'm still seeing this listing on SEN right now leads me to believe that an announcement is bound to arrive soon. Either that, or Sony's trolling all of us :p

That's a really good point. I was expecting this in July or something, but given the general timeframe between pre-orders and release up to this point, you might be on to something. That would be great!

There is no such thing as a "wrong" price.

That is an outdated, empirically disproven Marxist view which proposes that value comes from the amalgamation of costs of production.

In reality, value is determined by each individual, and price is the determined by the aggregation of those into demand and supply.

I think I love you.

PS + has never given good new releases? I guess they weren't 100% fresh, but the other month PS3 got DMC & Bioshock Infinite as well as some other stuff too I think. THAT is a good freebie month. And one month it was Borderlands 2, the InFamous games, I forget everything they've offered, but they have absolutely offered big high profile games that are under a year old, for free.

What games do I propose? I don't know, I just know that right now, the PS4 offerings on + are not nearly as appealing as they are for Vita and PS3.

I would suggest offering things like PS1 classics, but those aren't even fucking playable on my high end gaming console (I can still play and download those games on my PS3 though.)

How are my posts troll posts? I feel like PS+ is a bit of a rip for PS4. You disagree, therefore I must be a troll.

The PS4 has been out for 5 months now. Bioshock Infinite was 10 months old when it hit PS+. I honestly can't think of a single $60 game that was as new as 5 months ever getting put on PS+. When we hit September then you can start expecting full price retail games, but with the understanding that even then the chances of Sony finding a highly-rated game that was a bomb at retail still isn't that hot. The Vita didn't have any games on PS+ until the following fall; it was all cross-buy and PSP titles before then. Just getting a free indie game at the game's launch on PS4 is kind of a big deal compared to what normally happens with PS+.

I do agree that PS1 and PS2 classics would be great on the PS4 as part of PS+, but there's a big crowd that complains when we get old games instead of new games. Hopefully the bit where they don't run on the PS4 yet gets fixed soon, too bad none of the rumors mention a timeframe or disc support.

Where/how did you see UC3 @ 60 FPS? If ND is reading, I sure hope they ignore you.

I'm SO excited for this! TLoU is my favorite game of the past generation, a true work of art.

Anyway, what's taking Sony so long in addressing the banner ad on their SEN store? What's keeping them from confirming and officially announcing this? Or, at least, remove the ad?

It's only 8:45 am on the West coast.

Today they have plans to unveil H1Z1, which is also zombie apocalypse game. I dont think they would want to unveil TLOU remaster today, that would drown out news coverage for SOE's game.

I'm about 1.5 hours into the game (ps3). Sell it now and wait till I eventually get a ps4? I have so many games to get through I can be patient.

Still people whining about the price?

Do you think porting is free?

If you don't like it, either don't buy it or wait for it to come down in price.

Neat. That price though, jeez. Means the UK is gonna be shafted with a £57 price again...

I'm sure it'll be £49.99 on the PSN store like Infamous was. I never played the PS3 version so I have no problem paying full price for it.

The PS3 version was £39.99 at launch so it better not be any more than that. I've no qualms with it being a full-priced release but £39.99 is 'full-price' enough as it is.

I'll jump in if it's a remaster in the same way Tomb Raider was a 'remaster'.

Basically, show me a reason to pay full price and I don't mean bundling all the DLC with the game and some minor visual upgrades. I want to see a proper remaster...

This.

TR: DE was a huge improvement over the 360/ps3 versions, and if they did the same with The Last of Us (better textures and assets, better particle and effects, physics on everything...) i will be there.

If its just the ps3 graphics in 1080p, then i`m not interested.

Sucks that it's $70 for Canada but I don't see why everybody is shocked. It sold well, and it will sell well again at $70.

I cant wait to buy this. For someone who changed platform to ps4 and never had the chance to play this gem im more then willing to pay the price. Now if they only could port over Journey.

Really? That video of UC3 running at 60 makes my eyes dance with glee it's so beautiful.

What was wrong with it?

Err, what was wrong with it?

Don't stand out in the open or you'll get sniped (i.e. killed).

Glad you asked.

You have a sniper that is in front of you and your first instinct is to take it out using your weapons you've learned to you the entire game. However when you reach the building that is high enough for you to kill it, there is no character model in there, and gun doesn't even move when to shoot even if it shoots you at a 90 degree angle. You have to go and kill all the bad guys, go up AND THEN kill it, all that because there was a cutscsene that involved him. I could have just killed him when I was outside and deal with the rest of the guys later. The scene that comes after that could have easily been triggered simpply by walking into that area. after killing him.

I hope that's the case. 1080p/60fps with better textures would be excellent. I have my doubts on some level as to whether it will be 60fps if they improve the textures enough, but either way, I hope it's a damn fine port.

Possibly a result of the scatterbrained incompetence that sometimes posses the folks running the PSN store.

There is no reason to think even with upgraded textures that the ps4 may struggle with 60fps and 1080p.

Ah yeah I see where your coming from I did the same thing. I really liked that section but it definitely is a scenario you have to play by their rules.

Played and beat the game and loved every second of it but really don't want to go in at $60 on a double dip. If they gave me $20 credit since I did digital for the PS3 version, they can have my $40 interest free loan right now.

They're wrong for charging $60. Blame Square-Enix, I guess. Still buying. Probably won't get anymore DLC for the PS3 version. Totally glad I didn't buy the Season Pass now. :D
Glad you asked.
This was, without a doubt, the WORST encounter in the game. I would be sorely disappointed if they didn't fix the entire scene so that you can kill the sniper, but still have a need to get into the house and be ambushed. But that magic sniper rifle was just terrible.
