I know someone who was testing it last week. He has a connection of 30 down and said whatever he tried was pretty smooth. Shadow of the Colossus and a couple others. He said overall the selection is paltry, atm. I was more jealous of his download speed than getting in on this.

It's just a beta. If I were Sony, I'd make sure there was a good selection of genres available. Racing, fighting, RPG, tower defense, puzzle, shooters of various types, etc. You don't need 15 different fighting games to test the service.

If you didn't get the follow-up email with the code, you'll probably just get stuck in another batch. It seems like it might be split into batches that are sent every 2-3 weeks.

I haven't hard wired my PS3 yet... I wonder if that plays into consideration, I'll be hard wiring it tomorrow... we'll see if i get the code shortly after.

Another theory I was bouncing around is that there were only so many codes, and since people that did not receive an e-mail invite were still signing up through the URL they may have taken the spots from those who did get invites.

Then again like above it could just be rolling out in packs... although I think 3 weeks is a bit much for a follow up e-mail.

Were you on PS4, I got that on the PS4 then was able to get it on my PS3. I have yet to try my vita.

Considering I have PS+ for the past year, own multiple Sony platforms (PS3 + Vita) and am a big spender on PSN, I would hope Sony would send me an invite at this point but nope....

Well, at least everyone else can enjoy it ! If its as good as its being hinted at, I'm sure the service will be great when it fully launches latter this year.

You may want to submit a bug report for that. That's not how it's supposed to be working.

Lots of people seem to be in the beta. We're not supposed to talk about it at all however and Sony ninjas are everywhere. I hope I'm not breaking the rules in this post.
