Agent Locke, the star of Ridley Scott's Halo: Nightfall, is a playable character in Halo 5: Guardians, 343 Industries revealed today during an SDCC panel.

Nightfall is the origin story for Jameson Locke, which leads into his role in Halo 5. Set on a broken piece of the Halo ring from Halo: Combat Evolved, this is the story of Locke growing into a Spartan. 343's Frank O'Connor described Locke's story as "a superhero origin story" that's more closely integrated to Guardians than Forward Unto Dawn was with Halo 4.

That looks pretty bad but the other pictures are great. They need to dump the AR and not be so faithful to the game, just looks daft and amateur. I wouldn't judge on this poster completely, good TV and films do have terrible posters a lot of the time.

Spartan IIs like the chief were, but there were other programs using less engineered soldiers. Spartan IIIs in Reach (all of em except Jorge) and Spartan IVs in Halo 4 (Majestic/Palmer/Crimson, etc) if I remember correctly.

I think the best thing to come out of this is that Colter is doing the Mocap and VO for Locke in Halo 5, so we will have a bit of continuity in that regard. Awesome.
