shit don't you need MORE network staff? How is it going to get better?

Well I assume their biggest money spending is on talent, and they've kind of picked those bones a lot this year.

Next up, would have to be office staff, and they did beef up for the Network launch

Really? I thought Japanese wrestling still wasn't making much money, and is there any British wrestling that's on TV?
Making it rain brah

Listening to the latest Attitude Era podcast; the guys brought up Kane's return in 2000 just before No Mercy and just how god damn awesome it was.

I remember marking the fuck out for this, jumped right out of my seat. Paul Bearer makes this absolutely fucking magical. Fast forward to about the 1:50 mark.

LOL @ Foley trying to stop the three count and ref give no fks..

Bryan Alvarez got a text from someone last night that said the subscriber number was 690k, so it was worse than 700k and they just rounded up.

Japanese wrestling (well, New Japan) are not only making money, but are seeing consistent growth each year since Bushiroad purchased the promotion. To say they've turned round their fortunes would be an understatement and, with a lot of cross-promotion between New Japan and Bushiroad's trading card game properties, they're attracting a younger audience to wrestling again after Inoki-madness and MMA shite drove them away.

As for British wrestling, there's a bi-weekly round-up show that airs after TNA and highlights matches and news from promotions across the country, but no major presence as of yet. That could change, however, with promotions like PROGRESS, ICW & PCW regularly attracting larger audiences than US indies and some recent mainstream focus with the ICW documentary (which is getting a sequel) being seen by over 1 million viewers on the BBC.

Dave's rant on Tyson Kidd being a face on Main Event and a heel on NXT from last night's Observer radio is great. Shows just how little WWE gives a shit and thinks of it's audience.

Anyone find it amusing that the Brie and Stephanie Summerslam match is the only properly done #SlowBurn angle and #LongTermBooking the WWE has done in forever?

"I'm actually returning August or September," Tito Ortiz told Cageside Seats. "I'll be coming back to TNA and doing some stuff. It's in the works with Dixie. She reached out to me and I'm a big wrestling fan. I've been a wrestling fan since Junkyard Dog! We have some ideas."

I can hate popular things as well.

The Wire sucks and is vastly overrated. Scott Pilgrim was a terrible movie based on a terrible comic for emo kids. I haven't heard any of the top 21 albums of the 21st century and I'm fucking glad.

Over the past week, I have found out that you hate:

Marvel movie post credit scenes
The Simpsons
Scott Pilgrim
Breakfast
Fun

I gave you reasons for everything

1. Waste of time
2. Hasn't been good since I was a child. THATS A BAD RUN
3. Fucking piss-ass little shit acts like a fucking baby, what fun
4. I don't want to be fat like people who can't turn down food. fuck breakfats. BREAK FATS
5. Fun is no good, too many other people are enjoying it

I can hate popular things as well.

Oh I should look into that 21 albums. I have heard maybe...3 or 4 new albums this year so far. There's potential!

They really don't learn.

TNA going under will be the best thing to happen to American wrestling. A good company needs to take their place.

American wrestling is about to be in a really good spot. AAA is getting US tv with a big money backer and GFW is going to be getting tv soon and starting up. I'd like TNA to keep going, just because more competition is good, but there are some good options coming up soon.

Was he really a face on Main Event though? Seemed like he was just thrown into a tag team cause Slater-Gator needed someone to beat. He didn't have any mic time, he just came in, wrestled, and left.

Sunny doesn't like Scott Pilgrim?

I'm so disappointed right now.

But TNA isn't competition. They are a bad company that treats their wrestlers badly and, somehow, is still in business.

Vince is just ornery due to the Network press release. He'll be fine when he sees the sweet decal of Triple H as Calvin pissing on the TNA logo that some industrious fellow is surely creating as we speak.

I don't know. I don't watch those shows. Just going by what he said.

They've treated alot of wrestlers pretty well. They have screwed over some guys too though, but so has WWE.

Remember the good times:

He really should have stayed in WWE. He could have been in a good spot now. Now he's back in TNA.

I like The Wire, but I feel like people who think it's the best thing ever have never watched The Shield.

Things I hate:
Cream cheese in sushi
People who drive Nissans
Reddit
My alarm clock
Adam Rose

Scott Pilgrim's a really fun to watch film that possibly did more harm than good for all the hurt manchildren out there looking for their ramonas and the women that are the objects of their affection.

I really appreciate all the visual cues Sunset Overdrive is taking from it.

Well, one of the messages of the comic/movie is that you only "get" the girl when you stop being a manchild and face your problems head on.

99% of those manchildren walked away from that movie thinking 2 things:

1. omg that girl is hawt!

2. lol did you get that reference to that game I loved as a kid? it was so funny how they referenced it!
