For some reason I still have both Eventhubs and Polygon on my RSS feed.

Polygon because they had some awesome features (which, reading a thread today I realized they're not going to do anymore, so that's being removed) and Eventhubs just cause they post everything. I shouldn't really have Eventhubs there but it's handy on the occasion something isn't posted here.

I used to have Joystiq so I could catch whatever news GAF threads I miss (pretty much only check frontpage of gaming like once a day) but that sort of went to shit too. Been thinking of making a thread about unique blog reccomendations.

Only other gaming RSS I follow is Kotaku Fine Art which is awesome.

I dislike Eventhubs due to its sub-par writing skills learned in high school. Not only that, the ads are annoying as hell so I now just lurk FGC-GAF for links (thanks parallax and thechits for all them posts). Also, Eventhubs getting drama over the stupidest is beyond, why give them the attention they don't deserve? Just ignore them and let them rot in their own filth if they really are in the wrong.

i think eventhubs itself is fine... i appreciate people like karby who helps translate/relay a lot of japanese fighting game news. the things that suck about eventhubs are A. dreamking, who seemingly only writes tabloid-esque articles and B. the comments which are soul devouring.

GotG was gr8 and I hope it does well - word of mouth and RT will give it legs, it'll probably top Snyder flops. but most people don't know about the comix and the cast is relatively unknown

Guardians was very good, but I still have Cap 2 #1, Avengers is #3, with GotG in the middle.

The good thing about the Poison kerfluffle is that it forced Capcom to stop trying to "appease" this mythical conservative American audience on this stuff, and that was a very good thing. And hey, who doesn't like talking about Poison? She's awesome! Way better than most topics.

So I just randomly came across this IGN review of MVC2 for Xbox when browsing a trading site that shows IGN review scores. It got a 3.9?!

Now, I should note that it was posted on April 1, so I think it might be an April Fools joke -- some of the "critiques" point to it as well, because they're so dumb.

That being said, the review doesn't really read like a satire at all -- at least to me.

Thoughts?
