You must not play many fighting games then :V
This.

I don't like that particular tattoo. It looks more like a "tramp stamp" that belongs on the lower back. Definitely needs a redesign or removal altogether.
That pinstriped pants looks like something from the 70's. I would try for a different pattern scheme that fits into this decade(or millennium at least!!)

I meant that if she was a completely new character introduced in Tekken 7 she wouldn't look the way she does today.

I think fighters in general do a good job of mixing up designs. Yes, there are a lot of sexy characters, but you also have you Jun's, Makoto's and Aoi's. And as I mentioned earlier, fighters like Tekken and VF now give options to customize the clothing characters where. So their stock outfit isn't all the relevant anymore. Mortal Kombat is one of the very few fighters that seems to be full throttle towards all female characters must have a sexy look.

Yep, one of the coolest designs not only in the series, but in fighters in general.

I´m glad I´m not the only one who thinks that she is one of the best female designs in fighting games.

My favourite one being Mila from Dead Or Alive 5:

...it´s a bit weird that she is part of a series that is known for very sexualized characters. Sure, you can also get her the typical DOA bikinis and whatnot, but she really hits the sweetspot between confident, powerful and beautiful to me. I´ll be honest, she´s the reason I´ve even bought that game in the first place.

And that is not to say that I don´t appreciate sexy women in games - far from it. Most of them are just really tacky to me and in turn look more than a bad caricature and a cheap attempt to pander to my male instincts. Mila and Jun, on the other hand, are much more believeable. For instance, while Mila has big boobs like almost every other character in DOA, it isn´t the sole center of attention in her design - she looks like she is an actual person.

Leo was created in t6. Killer frost and cut scene ww aside, the injustice females are more conservatively dressed than the mk9 ones. The same applies to the ki females.

Damn, I was really hoping we'd get that female Tekken soldier from that contest a while back. Ah well.
I hate her tattoo, but love her face. I also hope Namco can make the female physiques look feminine this time around. The shoulders looked waaaaay too broad on the girls in TTT2.

If you look at this video those "boobs" disappear when she puts on any other outfit... so she's obviously wearing an insane amount of padding. :V
Or maybe she's supposed to be wearing chest binders.

She's my favourite Tekken characters. But I'm a little bit disappointed that she's not flat chested. She doesn't look androgynous in a bathing suit at all. :<

Mmm, I'd call it the Naoto effect.

She definitely gets my vote as well.
Hell much like you she is why I ended up buying the game on Vita.

She looks like typical sexy female character design. Kinda boring imo, at least in terms of appearance. Hopefully her fighting style will look cool.

Oh damn, I remember that.

She'd have fit right in with the DoA cast. Would have been a bit too out of place in Tekken.

I agree with you on the shoulders thing. I haven't played the game in over a year but you mentioning it instantly made me remember the frikkin' broad shoulders on the Tekken ladies.

Can we turn down the slutyness? This is the kinda crap that makes me feel embarrassed to play games in front off my girlfriend. Other then that, it's nice to see a Latin american. Probably from Argentine.

It's Tekken tho. Always has an obscene number of alternate costumes, to the point where I'm always shocked by what new stuff they have. If you like a character in this, you can dress them up however you want.

The actual model doesn't look nearly as good as the concept art :/ I see Tekken females will keep the blocky look this new generation.

FUCK DON'T REPLACE THE QUEEN OF SASS

Anna_Williams_-_Full-body_CG_Art_Image_-_Tekken_6.png

Ahhh I Can feel it Anna won't be in the game ~_~ This female miguel will replace here in the sass department..

If I saw a woman like that, I would faint.

How would you even maintain yourself without coming off as a fool? You can't.

So she has a French fighting style, and we have no Tekken characters from France yet she's from Latin America? So we now have three Latin American characters, yet no one from France, Italy, Greece, India, hell no one from the entire continent of Africa (unless you count Zafina who Harada said is "probably from Egypt"). Or how about a Kali fighter (Jason Bourne's style) from the Philippines?

Not impressed so far.

Yeah, Mila's design is pretty awesome.

Went into the thread with a small slice of hope that it wouldn't be a scantily clad big breasted female character, but maybe something different. It would be really interesting to see an overweight or extremely muscular female character, much like how there are male characters of all body types in Tekken.

I was disappointed.

Isn't Lili from France though?

Nina and Christie purposefully have broader/more muscular shoulders. That was done on purpose. Otherwise, it wouldn't have been hard for them to use the same models as the other female characters that don't have broad shoulders (i.e. all the rest of the female cast).

Latin America is not a country. Not that I don't agree that more variety = better. As a Mexican, I don't really like King yet our slot will forever be taken by him since he's a veteran. Oh well :p

Latin America is not a country.

You don't say. It's the term used in the OP, and is used to describe Mexico, Central and South American countries, along with islands in the Caribbean such as Cuba, countries mainly where Spanish dialects are spoken.

I'm directly addressing "we have 3 characters from Latin America, but not from [individual countries]". IMO, two Brazilians and a Mexican are not too many Latino characters.

My critique was in using a fighting style from France for a character from a completely different part of the world, when we don't have a French Tekken character. But yes, also as a region Latin America seems fairly well-represented, when many other countries with unique cultures, including for instance almost the entire continent of Africa, have no representation.

I'm not impressed with the character as a whole though -- design is lazy, dressed in street clothes -- so it's not just that.
