Official Call of Duty®: Advanced Warfare - A New Era of Multiplayer

Why play a fool to leaked information? It's highly restrictive and against ToS? I guess it would seem intriguing if the info was huge, but not if someone anxiously wants to enjoy the entire game.

Half the people getting leaked copies are just jumping into MP. You saw that guy chewing his gum. He didn't give a flip what he was spoiling and in the same chat the guy goes and says there will be a new link to later shows. It's beyond discouraging and it's like a handful of people haven't ever seen the FBI warning before major motion pictures. I find it all a tad stupid. We're all waiting to get our games unlocked. Join the crowd that doesn't violate Activision's ToS for once.

I think too many people like playing rogue these days.

To whoever has this game: can you look and see if there are options to give one team nothing but knives? Usually you have to do a combination of custom loadouts for each team, and restrictions on all the guns.

Only reason I don't like Sledgehammer is because it seems they're taking alot of stuff from Treyarchs games. A guy who was streaming even said the MP looks alot like BLOPS 2 graphics and color schemes and now they're evening adding Zombies when that's been Treyarchs thing? I bet Treyarch is mad at this guys on the low.

I think someone said earlier in the thread that one of the lead guys favourite CoD games is Blops 2 so that would make sense as to why we see it's influence here. I'm fine with that personally because I thought it was a brilliant game.

Ik but, I really hope Treyarch tries to be somewhat innovative again with their next release since Sledgehammer pretty much just made another Treyarch game. I skipped CoD Ghost because I don't trust Infinity ward and will never by their CoDs again. The only reason I'm probably gonna buy this is because people claiming it feels like Blops 2 but I kinda wish Sledgehammer would have tried something on their own ya know?

time to kill....so I take it people are saying it looks toned down a little compared to earlier videos? If so, great news IMO. Should make it a little more skill based.

That is great news, if true. Part of why Ghosts was so frustrating was the insta-deaths that seemed to occur regularly. I don't mind dying just let me get a few shots off...

Still no idea what platform to get this on...this will be the first CoD game I get at launch and play since..um the first black ops I think.

I'm thinking PC but i don't want to be at the mercy of KB/M players when I'll be using a controller

Just a warning. The series is pretty much dead on PC. In a couple weeks I'm betting some playlists will be hard to get a game on.

I think that's a little unfair. They have brought in the whole exo suit thing with new movement mechanics as well as a much bigger level of character customisation. Being able to customise your kill streaks is a new addition as well. They know Blops is popular and have brought a lot of their own ideas to the table.

I really wish Sledgehammer would include a playlist with increased health. The regular game is already in hardcore mode...which really is the opposite of hardcore.

Oh that changes things is it really that bad?

You will be able to find Domination, Ground War, TDM, Kill Confirmed for months with no trouble, the lesser played modes will become a problem after awhile.

Will the Day Zero Edition be available the next day? Or is it only sold on 11/3?

I believe it will be "available" (especially if retailers have extra copies) but you will miss out on the Double XP for the first day, which was supposed to be one of the draws (not that it is really that big of a deal.)

Well I won't be able to make use of it then. Planning on going through the single player first as always.

Just pre-ordered my copy from Tesco for 37 quid. Not too shabby.

I'm getting the PS4 version at launch to play with friends. As a primarily PC gamer I'm sticking with the PS4 version for now because well
zombie mode with friends
and the fact that the game on PS4 will be more actively populated than the PC version most likely.

Though if you're in the US, you can get the PC version from GMG for $49.99. Personally I might double dip on the PC version later down the line. But right now I'm still concerned about the quality of the port, and how active the game will even be

Personally, Call of Duty always felt like the best PC shooter to ever be on consoles. 60FPS even on last gen, generally fast 'twitch' gameplay, and now with AW there's a greater emphasis on movement. If the COD franchise in recent years treated the PC platform better I'd probably get the PC version first.

based on blops 2 for about 9 months u will find games easy in popular game modes before people only start gravitating to tdm.

Hmmmmm think I might grab it on console then PC is 26£ on Cdkeys which is why I was looking at it compared to the 50 on consoles

Welp just got my scuf 4ps in today. Paired it with my kontrolfreek vortexes and custom lightbar decal from flaming toast. Love it!

I won't be playing online until next Friday when I move out of the countryside of NC and in to the city which has gigabit fibre optic Internet. Can't wait!

That is a awesome looking controller . How are the paddles on the scuf? Is the layout awkward at all?

All the crazy futuristic stuff and jetpacks and shit and you say Sledgehammer isn't trying out their own ideas? Lmao

After seeing some streams (best ads for the game so far) and watching the maps and increased TTK, I caved in and bought it...

Also can confirm that the Day Zero is available through my European account at Monday 12.01am GMT even when I bought at the US PSN Store.

Tried to see if with my Hong Kong and Japan accounts would give me an earlier unlock time but those stores don't have the game for preorder, so it doesn't work. Maybe Australia?

So for any American trying to get the game 4 hours earlier, just create an account with an European address and your game will unlock earlier if you use that account.

EDIT: Also didn't get any DLC with my Day Zero preorder. Only the Destiny shader is available...

Saw this on Reddit. Doesn't look too hot

To be fair, the guys behind this game were doing the futuristic thing before Black Ops II existed. The way I see it, they've brought that aesthetic to COD now.

As for the zombies, who knows. Give the people what they want I guess. Most people don't care about who the developer is.
