Nothing! I said nothing!
Unfortunately that game is not coming next year, it's a 2016 game according to Shinobi.
I'd love them to start turning the hype up though at this event in December. A CGI trailer would do for me.

Majority of the PS4 exclusives I've seen being listed are like filler games.
Diverse library sure, but don't see the appeal in many of the games. I don't speak for everyone but stuff like No Man's Sky doesn't excite me.
And most of them will probably sell better than SO and FH2, so they won't be bad filler

Vita is the go to platform for JRPGs though.
Pretty much. But I guess the truth doesn't make for a good story. How is Sony "not being humble"? Because they're not cutting the price of the PS4? That has nothing to do with being humble. It's a business strategy. Is Microsoft being "humble" by cutting the price of the XBO? Fuck no. It's a business strategy, the console is simply not selling, so they HAVE to cut the price to keep the merchandise moving.
Sony doesn't to play catch up, they created a compelling and solid product from the get-go. That's the perk of planning and executing correctly.
Nothing to do with humility.
define 'filler games'
In Japan. no one is buying vitas anywhere else, JRPGs or no. And even on vita, there aren't any high profile titles on P5's level. the last one was what, FFX remaster?
And most of them will probably sell better than SO and FH2, so they won't be bad filler
Media will have meltdown if PS4 won on Nov NPD or Xbox haven't won any month. Not just the fans & sale-ages.
Also: Will Gran Turismo make an appearance in 2015?
Dont know where Until Dawn and Tearaway will fit.
define 'filler games'
Xbox won December 2013. Almost a full year though in a market they dominated last gen.
I'd love them to start turning the hype up though at this event in December. A CGI trailer would for me.
According to Shinobi, Sony isn't going to reveal the game until E3 2015, so you probably shouldn't expect anything related to this game to be announced in December event.
Larger install base maybe?
I have doubts those things are decided in November and earlier. Personally, I believe we won't be seeing it till even after E3.According to Shinobi, Sony isn't going to reveal the game until E3 2015, so you probably shouldn't expect anything related to this game to be announced in December event.
When PS Australia announced the PS4 sales they mentioned that Until Dawn was an early 2015 title. So Sony will have that Bloodborne, MLB, and The Order during that period. Ratchet is also due in the first half of 2015. Then you have whatever unannounced titles and indie games that'll help fill out the rest of the lineup.
Yeah I imagine we will get a release date next month.2015/2016 according to Kaz. They don't seem to be willing to commit to any hard dates for the series after what happened with GT6. Hopefully we'll hear something about it at the PS Experience.

I don't know about this. From the Gamescom demo the game looked highly unpolished; some of the animations were so unfinished that it "moved" like a PS1 game. I'm expecting a delay.
They had a tough transition at their WWS even canning a game 3+ years in development at Santa Monica that no doubt left a void. 2015 will be where they reaffirm how great their studios are.
MS has done a great job this holiday season of shaping the narrative that PS4 has no games and Xbone has an abundance of games. I will be interested to see how it gets covered in the media when that is flipped around in 2015. Right now it is very much a near sighted look at the market that is happening.

Have people forgot what PS1 games were like already? Come on.I don't know about this. From the Gamescom demo the game looked highly unpolished; some of the animations were so unfinished that it "moved" like a PS1 game. I'm expecting a delay.
Uncharted will definitely sell over a million. Ratchet and Clank also has a good chance.
My big question marks are Persona. Will it be bigger than P4 and P3 after how popular they were, or smaller due to jRPG sales regression in market? Or is the pent up wait for P5 really causing anticipation to build more than it otherwise would have?
And the other one is Tearaway. That game was one of the best I ever played, but was crippled sales-wise by being on Vita. Is it going to find a market on PS4? Will the gameplay changes they had to make allow the game to retain its unique charm? Will they market it? The bar for success will obviously be lower due to already having a lot of the stuff completed from Vita version, so budget is probably not near as high as some of their other games.

Seems like Bend is working together with Santa Monica on a new PS4 game.Sony has so much people working on games it should be a great 2 years for them .
There still SSM , Bend , GG new IP , SP ,MM , SCEJ ,PD and what ever else they got working with other companies .
The Order being delayed royally fucked the holiday line up for Sony, probably that cancelled SSM game as well.
GT6 should have been released this holiday instead of last year :/
Oh, so you said "thank you" because he talked bad about Sony's games?
Got it!

Outside of The Order, Bloodborne, R&C Remastered, and UC4, everything else IMO is a tier below.
EDIT: I could argue Everybody's Gone to the Rapture and maybe WILD, but that's it for me.
Let be real here: in the portable realm, sony is just getting blasted. But in the console realm, nintendo has been a nonfactor so far this gen.
It is when less than 10% of your game library don't even utilize it's "power".
Top tier games: Uncharted/GoW/GT
Mid-Tier: Infamous, Killzone, Drive Club, Motorstorm
Filler: Everything.
That's the kind of hierarchy I've seen people employ when ranking Sony games.
That's a good point.
Vita is non-existent outside of Japan.
Have people forgot what PS1 games were like already? Come on.
The PS3 could have been a CPU/GPU clone of the 360 and you'd still be incorrect: a large part of the extra cost was due to Blu-ray.
I think most first PS4 adopters bought the system out of principle and reaction to MS shitty policies/DRM. At the end, people will flock to the console with most/better games.
What does that mean? Yes obviously they're a tier below in terms of likely sales potential, but they're not filler. Most of them have the potential to be fantastic games, some of the best in its respective year.
And name how many PS3 games actually benefitted from it?
I could see that being the case, but MS doesn't have a consistent line up of games to support that.
They hoard their titles for the holidays, leaving the rest of the year wide open for Sony to lap up more consumers :/
It's not quantity that matter, but quality.
With the exception of TLoU, I can't think of a game that got universal acclaim, as well as commercial success from WWS recently.
More in line with every upcoming PS4 exclusive not being a must have for gamers.
Ah well just need to make do with Witcher 3 then and hope Fable turns out better than it looks.
So tell me the great MS 2015 lineup for the next 3 quarters.
Fable Legends is different than other Fable game . So don't expect it to be spiritual Fable 4.
