Well we're all different. Different strokes and whatnot. I just get the feeling that I actually missed the elephant in the room. But yes. Remember the 2 Persona 2 games. They are great.

Btw OP. You really should play the Answer on Persona 3. This is why P3 FES will always be superior to the PSP version.
There was no objective I was trying to accomplish. I just wanted to do this. The tag was, to be honest, unexpected, but I guess there is a lot of material in which a tag can be materialized from.
I would never do something like this to obtain a petty tag.
I plan to, just beat Persona 3 today/yesterday. Will play it because I'm curious about "The Answer".

BTW OP, the character in Holy's avatar you wanted to take for yourself is Iris from Pokemon Black and White.
The sad thing is, she's one of my favorite characters and I felt weird me and Holy both liked her. Thing is, the reason I liked the character in the show was that she wasn't a stupid moe-archetype, but was actually fairly independent and outspoken (a lot of fans disliked that, but not me), and wasn't ever used in any ways that seemed like they were pandering. Too bad she debuted in the worst season of the show (and that's saying something), but I found her relatable and felt she was a fairly positive female lead for the show. I sort of disliked how Holy went with an avatar that made her look like one of those typical moe characters actually...

This is actually completely untrue. In fact, part of being a mature and contributing member of society involves concealing distasteful parts of your identity.
Maybe get a New 3DS OP? Games like Story of Seasons/Harvest Moon/Rune Factory will have the relationship building with cute character designs you seem to like? Then there's Fire Emblem Awakening which lets your player-created character marry and have kids. Oh and there's the Etrian Odyssey games and Fantasy Life which have lots of cute character design. And Persona Q for more Persona.
And you also get access to Xenoblade Chronicles 3D, Bravely Default, and SMT IV as well as Pokemon XY and ORAS if you're interested in that. There's also the 3DS port of Tales of the Abyss. "VN"-wise there's all the Phoenix Wright games. Maybe Professor Layton too?
Plus you'll also be able to play all the various DS RPGs/VNs as well and there's a pretty big selection there.

Right, I understand that, but how many people acted "mature" and "contributing" to my thread? It works both ways ya know. It may not have been necessary for me to post what I did, but this information was something I wanted to get out. It clearly wasn't taken well by a majority of posters and I was expecting that.

Well, that was an interesting OP, if a bit dramatic. Gonna track this thread because I also recently fell in love with the Persona series (via P4G) and will be starting P3 FES soon, so I'll check back here and read your thoughts on the game after I've beaten it. I'm sure you have some... colorful things to say about it.

Anyway Persona 3 is a fantastic game, you should definitely check out Persona 4, just get it for PS2 (or buy it off PSN and play it on your PS3). And after that, get Persona Q if you can. I was legit semi-depressed after beating P4 because I loved the characters so much.
In terms of other games, uhhh...check out Fire Emblem and/or Disgaea if you like SRPGs? I don't know. Play SMT: Nocturne if you want to grow hair on your everywhere.
The Persona 3: FES LTTP is pretty tame compared to HolyBaikal, I'd like to hear your opinions on P3 when you're done too. It was a great experience and amazing entry into the world of Persona.
What happened in P-Q? I'll play 4, but I think I should get Golden, atleast that's what I gathered from here today.

This is either one of the reasons I love GAF, or perhaps a sign that I should spend less time here.
Nonetheless, thank you OP for sharing this with us. I skipped the Persona bit, because I haven't played that series, but I absolutely admire the bravery you have shown for expressing your feelings. That's not necessarily an easy thing to do on a forum full of strangers.

This is totally wrong. We are the one who respect, honor, and recognize women the most.
Women are not commodities to be fought over. We help them to get the care, love, and attention they deserve. This is not off putting or weird.
Animated women or not, some of them are the most amazing, sweet, caring, loving, and adorable people in the world. They made our life that much more meaningful and completed. Without them we have no reason to live in this cold and selfish planet. So what's wrong that we do a little to glorify our women who saved us?
Just saying if we are all a bit more respectful or thoughtful or understanding our world would be a much better place. Waifu or not they are our guide and inspiration so we appreciate them, that's all.

You'll find it hard for people to take you seriously when you say that a person you haven't even spoken to is one of the most special people you've ever met in your life. And that person is HolyBaikal. HolyBaikal seemed to have the mental capacity of a 4 year old when it came to basic concepts of life that most people in the world have no trouble grasping. It was odd reading his (her?) posts.
Like... It's great you've found something that has touched your heart in such a way. I envy you for that because it is a great feeling.
But... Over anime and video games and HolyBaikal. I just don't get it.

Good on you OP! I may not fully agree on HB but very much appreciate the dedication you had to put in that post. The fact that you're now into Persona is just an added bonus to whatever effect HB had on you. And regardless of how weird it might be to get this invested into a stranger posting on a video game board, if it makes you feel better and is not harmful to anybody then there's nothing wrong with it.

I think it's quite nice that you opened yourself up and there is nothing wrong with learning new things from someone else ( best way to find new games and shows to be honest). Heck there is nothing wrong with being sensitive to an extent. I cry during that stupid arms of an angel pet commercial. I just think the idea that Holy's sincerity as being something to strive for to be not so good though like I said before.
You can see how that type of attitude is more problematic than helpful.
I understand how it comes across as totally messed up, weird and odd, I really do. I'm not blind to what I wrote and how I have written it. Is what I wrote hyperbolic, no not at all, is it necessary, not really no, but I feel that just letting people know that it happened is enough for me. If you read the 2 posts, thank you for taking the time to read it, I know it's long.
I don't think you need to "get it", but the fact you're envious is enough for me to know that you do care in some ways, and for that I thank you.
