Store told wrong information. It's possible that certain store is selling it this way because of limited quantity or they just told you incorrect info but offical Target rule is 2 per character. You can buy multiple characters though.

You're missing out man. The real fun happens when you wake up in the morning to find out the exclusive amiibo you wanted was sold out overnight. Got to try it at least once.

I don't think they will put out a set this big ever again. It's definitely more trouble than they thought it would be. You have tons of pissed off fans too.
A full pokemon set would never be possible. There's already 700+ and by the time they start putting them out a new generation will be upon us with more new ones.
I could see them making like an 8 or 10 pokemon set of really popular ones.

Depends on the games and how good their amiibo look. But we can all say it'll be a lot more tame than it was for the past 7-8 months.

Yeah the woman repeated herself and said two per GUEST..maybe she misunderstood what the manager told her who knows, will call again on Tuesday since I believe tomorrow they are closed. If its two per character unless Target stores are getting a crapload of each character I dont see how only a few people get amiibos because that screws everyone else over. I won't be camping out, the store here opens at 8AM, I can get there around 9:30 at the earliest, then after wards go to TRU..but Im hoping to get at least something out of the day since I already have the main amiibos already pre ordered at Wal-mart.com(Pac-Man, Charizard, Wario, and Splatoon 3 pack)

Darn, I want to go all foreign wave 5. I'm not dealing with US crap anymore if I can avoid it. Which is funny because even just two months ago I was determined to have an all US collection but after this wave, man I just don't care anymore about that.

Oh yeah. Happened at Target for Rosalina, the one and only time I had to go to a store for an amiibo. Doors opened and people rushed to the back passing people just wanting to walk like me. I got put nearly to the back of the line. Literally got the last Rosalina by luck.

So basically...we should run.
All stores should do the ticket system, but when you offer 2 of each amiibo that doesn't work very well.
Rosalina was great for me because there was a snow storm that day. I arrived 20 minutes after they opened and they had plenty in stock.
Jiggs should be good for me too, because school is still in session and I don't really live in a college town, so there shouldn't be too much competition (hopefully).
Thankfully I've managed to not have to actually go to these releases so far.

Main, I was feeling really confident about the Amiibo situation until we started getting the numbers, and limits for Amiibo. Wave 5 is going to be an even bigger disaster with Palu, and Suitless Samus. I'm just going to buy them when they pop up at scalper prices. I'm done hunting, I'm willing to pay $30 per Amiibo, and call it a day. So far I've managed to get Dark Pit, and Ganon.
I'm going OT for a minute, but shadow of Mordor is truly an amazing game. Hope we get more games in the series, with new main characters, and even more skins. Really fascinating game, with deep, and satisfying combat mechanics. Ubi needs to steal the combat system, there's no shame in that.

This sucks, I only need 13 Amiibo and I only have 9. Ugh, I need Marth already and I don't know what to do. I'm out of trade fodder too, have had great success doing straight trades with local collectors, but the bin is empty once more. Trading takes too long, I don't want to have to go through it again.

For me that is considered a good thing, my City Target is also doing two amiibo PER guest so I actually like that..that way two people can't come in and take everything..I have more of a chance to at least get two amiibos that I want without having to camp out for them
They went up on amazon Germany a couple days ago.
amiibos come out in NA? Impossible. No new ones in stores since wave 3. Assumed NoA saw Ness 'n decided to axe Amiibos all around to prevent Americans from rememberin' EB.
