If all DLC came tied to $13 figurines, I'd consider all DLC to be free
So you guys don't think racists can change for the better in 8 years or ever? I don't give a damn about Hulk but... He might have changed for the better. Then again I don't know him...
This is kind of like Roger Federer having his name removed from all the open trophy rooms.
Lol no... Federer is a Saint while Hulk already had a bunch of drama over his private life in the past.

I mean in terms of notoriety. You almost can't talk about WWE history without Hogan.

Sure he can change. He needs to.

Hulk Hogan's Daughter Brooke Defends Her Dad by Writing Poem Titled "If You Knew My Father'' Amid Racism Scandal

Hulk Hogan may be in hot water right now, but his daughter is backing him up.

Brooke Hogan took to Facebook earlier to day to defend her father, real name Terry Bollea, who has been at the center of a racism scandal.

Radar Online and The National Enquirer revealed Friday that he was taped making racist remarks many years ago. A transcript of the audio showed Hulk, a 12-time world champion and former Vh1 reality star, using the n-word repeatedly in reference to Brooke's dating life.

With the controversy surrounding the famous wrestler, the 27-year-old wrote a poem titled "If You Knew My Father" which she published on the social media website along with a black and white collage of her and her dad, to explain that his previous actions aren't who he really is.

Here's what Brooke wrote:

~If You Knew My Father~
By Brooke Bollea

If you knew the dad I knew,
you'd know his tender heart.

He'd never want to hurt his fans,
or family from the start.

If you knew my father,
you would know how hard he fought...

and the way it brought a smile to people light, medium and dark.

We always fight a battle
that people never see,

and sometimes when you're hurting, you don't think logically.

Human isn't perfect,
and perfect is not he,

but I can tell you one thing, it's just not what it seems.

Cause If you knew the dad I knew,
you'd know he raised me well.

He taught me folks are so much more
than shades could ever tell.

And If you knew my father,
you would know he's down to earth.

He may have slammed the giant,
but remembers life's true worth.

If you knew my father,
if you just walked in his shoes...

then you would know that microscope that comes with yellow boots.

If you knew my father,
you would see your own in mine.

And if he was your father, you could never find divide.

Cause me- I bet your father
or someone that you love

Maybe regrets something
they wish they'd never done.

So if you know my father,
remember he's a man,

and you would crave relief if people judged everything you did.

The lord says to forgive them,
don't be the one to stone...

so please remember his strong arms when you were all alone.

The lives he's changed, the friends he's made,
the people he's inspired...

It makes me sad to see my dad
defeated and so tired.

If you knew my father,
you would know just how he's hurting...

For he loves every one of you, regardless of your story.

And if you met my father,
I know he'd give you love!

He'd lift you up, apologize and give you all a hug.

For those who think you know my father,
remember who you are.

We all can make mistakes and carry ugly scars.

Because I know my father,
I can promise this-

Just like you and I, things we don't mean can sometimes slip.

We all continue learning.
This life can be so rough...

So if you know my father, please try not to be tough.

My father has a daughter,
and I have feelings too.

And if I knew your father, I would do the same for you.

Hulk made a mistake, but he is a legend. I don't think he should have been fired for this.

Now wwe is going to start crapping on his legacy just like they used to.

What time is it?
So you guys don't think racists can change for the better in 8 years or ever? I don't give a damn about Hulk but...

I think change can happen much quicker than that but it usually comes with exposure to races you've had little experience with. Hogan didn't have a sheltered life when he made those statements so I'd be little dubious of him changing.

Most legendary figures got that way by having their worst sins covered up so their greatest accomplishments could shine brighter.

Once someone dies, it becomes almost impossible to disparage them. Looks like we got to Hogan just in time since the average lifespan of wrestlers isn't much north of 60.

Honestly at his age, even at the time, something has to be the catalyst for change. Something like this, basically. He was 52 at the time he made those comments. He has never been called out before, and frankly the WWE has spent the last couple of years fellating him. What could have possibly happened in the last eight years that didn't happen in the first 52 to force him to self-reflect?

Ten years from NOW, I might believe he's changed.

Just another fake-ass celebrity. Just love the products and the artist's work, folks, as the real people behind them are often far different than the personas they've cultivated for maximum success.

I really can't oversee cheating on your wife so easily.

In that type of business there's people who earnestly sleep at night after they let other men fuck their wife so they could keep their position in the roster. Not even remotely condoning what he did, but in that environment it's easier to name who did not rather than who did.

Vince McMahon is writing himself into the role of a moron who doesn't know he's being an asshole, and has a black character react appropriately.

It's tough to sell satire before a live audience, but I think everyone got it. If anything, he's poking fun at white people.

Because he's writing it.
So it is okay for Tarantino to write the n word in a script? What about when he writes it AND says it like in Pulp Fiction?

Vince McMahon is writing himself into the role of a moron who doesn't know he's being an asshole, and has a black character react appropriately.

See, this guy gets it. Spot on.
