Cant wait, this is a great OT! Watching the 500 hour stream over on Twitch the last view days has got me ridiculously excited for this.

Epic.

I'm going to be watching my friend play. I've never been a big MSG player but I do enjoy watching these games. So cinematic.

Is this going to be worth playing even if I only ever finished MGS2? I was thinking I might try and give this series another go.

My biggest reluctance is not knowing the story and whether this game is going to be another MGS with stupidly long cutscenes constantly interrupting gameplay....

It would really help if you've played MGS3, Peace Walker and Ground Zeroes or at least know their stories. The game apparently has much less cutscenes and longer stretches of gameplay in between due to the open world.

And they made him a Lord of Cinder. Not for virtue, but for might. Such is a lord, I suppose. But here I ask. Do we have a sodding chance?
You even got un-juniored for this?! Unbelievably awesome thread, Dawg!

This post was directed by Hideo Kojima.

What's the subtitle a reference to? it doesn't ring a bell.

It's the name of a song from David Bowie, who's previous album before the aforementioned song the album came from was called Diamond Dogs.

(Hope no one saw what this post was before --- had a brain fart!)

Aww yeah finally the OT goes up! Afer about 15 missions and a whole tons of sode ops I have to say this game is amazing and yes it does top MGS3 gameplay wise. Story wise im not so sure yet but its intriguing so far. Yhe mission where you have to
blow up the oil refinery
was a big standout to me. There are a bunch of missions like that and they are all great.

Game's everything I'd hoped so far. Biggest departure from the core MGS formula and better for it.
