Oh okay, I'm finding this fascinating. Can anyone list what changes were made between the original PC release and the subsequent PSP version? And then maybe we can have someone confirm if those changes were/weren't backported to PC. Is it like the first game, where Monster Book and additional character portraits were added to the PSP version or does it go deeper?
Is there a nice video or text synopsis of the first one?
The lore is deep and I don't remember a lot of it since I played it two years ago!
Nice.To my knowledge, every single PSP addition has been back-ported to our PC release. Including the additional playable characters.

Goddamn XSeed, build up your release a little bit please.
Came outta nowhere.
Steam release is worldwide, because it's not dumb with regions like PSNOh shit. This is the NA release only?
I can still download of Steam from Europe, right?

There's a bit of region locking, the most significant is the many japanese games that are locked out from Japan and some regional f2p games.
TitS SC will definitely be available in EU, though. Don't know about Japan. Maybe XSEED can clarify.
You can play it with your vita.
I know you can play it on Vitayou can play it on your Vita, it's a PSP game.
Just so you know, if you're talking about the Evolution games, we're never getting those.
You need to stop making me love you guys so much, omg.
I know you can play it on Vita
But it's not actually a Vita game
and it doesn't have trophy or any Vita ability like dual analog
Yes! The wait is finally over! Was there any news on EU release for PSN? I would still would like to finish the game on the Vita
I think the only comment was that it's coming "soon after the NA release".
I really hope we get some more concrete info soon.. I'd much prefer to carry over my own save on the Vita but I don't want to wait months
It won't be months. At least, it better not be! The game just got held up in bureaucracy limbo, but the second we have a definitive release date to share for the EU version, we'll let you guys know.

Why are XSeed so determined to make sure you knowin this game? It's in a screenshot and the trailer on steam (I stopped watching at that point for fear of further spoilers). Whilst they were mentioned in the first one and I had my suspicions they may play a part later on, I'd rather have gone in not knowing.that there's a dragon
That aside though, don't think I've been this excited for a game since I saw the FF7 trailer on TV almost 20 years ago.
So will both versions have the upgrades added to the PSP version?Such as permanently playable Mueller and Julia?

That thing is also marketed in the Japanese trailers.
Is there a way to play this on PSP if you don't have PS3?

It's all over Japanese promo materials, as said (in fact the English promo stuff is keeping things concealed spoilers that the Japanese stuff left open), and it features in a lot of dramatic scenes which are good for trailers that still aren't too spoilery.
If you think the dragon is a spoiler, oh man. Butts, holding on, et cetera.

Hmm maybe download to PC then transfer to PSP using Content Manager?
Use Media Go.
So without going into too crazy of spoiler territory, how many new characters are in Second chapter? I already knew ofand in the trailer you see a new? Male character, is he one of the two psp additions? Not really looking for story spoilers of why they join just an idea of how many new characters join the team.the pirate girl from the first game becoming playable from the wiki
You can still download games directly with your PSP, unless it's a E1000
Yes, it's happening to me too. I'm pretty sure it's been like this for a while.FC just updated on steam and it broke the movies for me. The game runs fine but the start up bit and the movies are just a weird purple, pixelated mess. Anybody had this?
That 1:40 part....
Cool, thank you for the confirmation. I plan on getting the PSP version but I'm glad to see both versions will have the same content.I can additionally confirm that the English PSP and PC versions are 100% feature-equal in every regard. I was speaking with Sara about that just a bit ago. PC equality on this was one of the goals from the start, and one of the reasons I was so eager to bring Sara on all those years ago, because I knew she was equal to the task.
.
Four new permanent characters (they all join rather late), two temporary new folks.
And I doubt it's too much of a spoiler to say Kevin Graham, the new dude with the green hair, is the major addition to the playable cast. He's a support character in the vein of Kloe (his S-Craft is nuts, and I'll say no more on that), if you don't want to use her for main healer and want to leave Tita or Olivier open for offensive use. Kevin was always part of the "base" game, not part of the PSP expanded features.
Beyond that... well, you'll just have to find out who's playable~
I mean, it's a PSP game, what are they supposed to do? What did you expect?
Yes, it's happening to me too. I'm pretty sure it's been like this for a while.
Windowed mode supposedly fixes it. Pretty annoying but at least there are only ~two videos in the entire game.
