Is there a way to have Dead Ops accessible through the zombies menu (or any other menu) like in the first Black Ops or do you always have to go via Campaign?

Sand Castle and it won't let me breach the door to get the sniper boss. I'm guess it's a glitch.

I don't even mind being bad, but I just wish the game was better at putting people of equal skill levels together in the same game. Whatever happened to that idea?

There should be a "you suck" server and I'd happily play on it, as long as everyone else on it was as bad as me.

I swear I mess up even the easiest situations. Run up on a guy standing still with his back to me, should be an easy kill. I'll still find a way to botch it and end up dying. I have to laugh or I'll throw my controller through the TV.

Lol, this "old" gamer has the same problem. Just stick at it! You will eventually grasp it. I'm getting murdered the whole time and have to time to react. I am sure though that I will get used to it. I normally have a 0.6 k/d ratio, which is areas bad, but can live with it. Played about 6 MP games and it's far below. I will get better!

Really enjoying this so far. But if people are quitting, I wish they would do it before a game starts! A guy had 30 kills in previous TD game against me. Next game he got matched on my team. The game starts...he leaves immediately. My first thought it "aw fuck" because I know the enemy team was balanced considering his previous 30 kills. And now we lost our best player. Surely enough, we got spanked.

It's been a very long time since I've gone into a CoD game day one(since MW2 actually) and easing into the multiplayer hasn't been easy. I for every good game I have, it feels like I have 3-4 average/bad ones. I hope my competitive multiplayer days aren't over. :/

Anyone else having issues in multiplayer? I mean we do have four PS4's on the same switch to the router. But I checked the routing table and its pulling the port correctly for all four ps4's

My nat is open, wired connection, have very good connection , just checked my download speed via wifi and is 60 per SecoND and I keep lagging often times. Earlier today it was fine m what the fuck? Ps4 servers suck

Its the same on PS4 too. Some of the smallest text is not just hard or nearly impossible to read but LITERALLY illegible.

Campaign splitscreen is very hard to play due to most levels are very dark and set at night time, enemies are almost always really far away in this game and the graphics and art design is way too detailed and busy to see enemies in splitscreen. Also I'm sure splitscreen runs at 900p at best on PS4, so on XB1 I imagine it could be 720p.

The servers have gone down at least 6 times for me today. I couldn't get on for 30 minutes at one point.... All sort off issues, but never any lag problems when it's running.

I have a 150mbit virgin line, hard wired ps4, so I'm good on the internet front... Must be something going on

Has Xbox one been stable?

This combined with the poor performance in the campaign and worse visuals than advanced warfare makes this an embarrassing release. On top of that, we have one of the worst if not the worst single player releases in COD's history according to several impressions. Now there are server issues and disappearing save files due to them being saved online? Let's not forget the split screen mode with black bars, smh. I'm glad I didn't fall for the hype. The reviews looked too suspicious. Looks like giant bomb, polygon(forgive me), and gamespot were on point. Treyarch makes the worst performing(tech wise) COD games and the most boring COD games imo. Its nice to see my suspicions confirmed.

Has there been a AAA game launch yet where the multiplayer remained stable over the opening weekend? It's kind of funny how companies never, ever, ever learn from previously fucked up launches.

The Neogaf ruined you with all the pre release hype. It's just another COD release of the same ole crap so try not to let it get to you.

If it makes you feel any better in 3 weeks you will hate it more than you do today so go enjoy yourself tonight.

Play objective based games like Domination or even kill conformed, ptfo, focus on win/loss over KDR and you'll have now fun.

Tje day I stopped giving a single fuck about KDR was the day I learned to love shooters

As a fellow old gamer (40 years old) who also knows without any doubt whatsoever I am not as good at MP games as I once was, just realize it is not only you.
I believe it is very simple as to why, at least in my situation...
I just do not have the time I once had to dedicate to playing the games. Less time = less familiarity with the maps, weapons, intricacies, best spots, the list goes on and on.
Sure, some people are just naturally gifted at FPS MP and they do not need time, but I believe that most people do.

Since I have realized it is not that I suck, but I do not have the time needed to dedicate to get as good as the players who are better than me, well, it is what it is. I accept it, and still have fun.

Perhaps it has also helped me that I know my K/D ratio in a video game is truly irrelevant in the grand scheme of this thing we call life. It literally has no affect on me either way. It just does not matter.

So play and enjoy. If you do not enjoy it, find something you do. Life is to short.

I'll take a disappointing campaign for one of the most balanced and better MP experiences CoD has had in a while.

Yeah I agree with this. Both the performance and graphics are worse than AW. Plus this is the worst campaign in mainline CoD history.

Treyarch are the new Infinity Ward. Sledgehammer are the new Treyarch.

MP is a lot more fun than AW though.

I've had few problems joining games with my moderate nat connection in past games. Why is it supposedly so much worse now? Was going to buy this today, but maybe I should wait till they sort their server issues out.

I agree the AW campaign was more fun and had better locales.
Not sure I would say the graphics were better though?

But the multiplayer and all the other content in the game is way better than AW.
Also,the campaign is co-op, which is a plus as well.
I actually think the campaign is not the usual CoD campaign because of that.

I think a lot has changed for the better. I'm thoroughly enjoying this game and I have yet to scratch Zombies.

Everyone complains about annoying children on voice chat, but in my experiences the far greater evil are those toolbags who constantly broadcast the music they are listening to the entire game.

The campaign is about 50% of the reason I buy COD so if it's poor, it's a no go. I played the beta and I thought the multiplayer was okay but nothing special. I watched a little bit of the campaign on youtube and it was poor. Others have commented several times in this thread that it doesn't get better.
