Yay! Glad to have my order in as well.

How is there pre-order process? Do they charge right away and deposit it back or don't charge until closer to release?

They do a test charge, which eventually is removed, then charge when they are about to ship.

I think Danganronpa Trigger Happy Havoc and Natural Doctrine still hold the record. Natural Doctrine sold out in a week, no restock.

I'm just saying I've seen and from that price point that's pretty incredible ;)

And oh gosh NIS America's facebook was bombared with posts about Nights of Azure being sold out! told ya they'd restock! #gottameetdemdemands

The Vita port is garbage, Gust shat on the Vita fanbase with it, despite turning out to be the highest-selling version of the game in Japan.

Still, I'd buy it. Give me a fancy and shiny limited edition and you have my money.

I've been bugging them on twitter for it, the vita fanbase has supported those digital plus and deserve a vita version for sure. They did a vote where a majority wanted a release in vita so yeah, that's the good news. The bad news is they still have remained a bit hush hush about it. Still the release date isn't for a while so they may announce it soon.

If I have a hint of idea what's behind Koei Tecmo's reasoning, it'd be that they're pushing the $60 version of their game before selling the $40 one, even if the cheaper version is bad.

you're probably right. I know most vita/ps4 owners would rather play it on vita but are buying the PS4 version since its the only one available. Hell I would buy both <,<.

That's probably why they haven't announced atelier sophie which released less then a month after Nights of Azure was released in Japan. You don't want sales conflicting.

Specially when you're selling a $100 limited edition.

I hope they optimize just a teency weency more. Escha and Logy runs great on my vita so I know they can do it.

I'm honestly amazed that runs as well as it does after everything I had heard about the previous Plus versions. Something definitely needs to be done with this though if they do bring it over here on Vita.

So how's the game reviewed in Japan? Interested in this, but don't want to get burn again.

Famitsu gave it a 32/40. http://gematsu.com/2015/09/famitsu-review-scores-issue-1399

Some complaints are how easy some battles are which can be remedied by modifying the difficulty (you have to jump through some hoops for that though) the character models being a bit stiff and the hit registers not feeling like it hits the monsters.

High marks were for the characters, the combat, the setting, soundtrack.

The graphics were pretty good and overall game mainted at 60fps and it was rare for it to drop any lower than that sometimes.

A lot of the complaints hopefully are remedied with a sequel and with more development time.

portability :v

Eh. It's not like an Atelier game, I'd prefer framerate/graphics for this one, so PS4.
Don't really see where you're pulling out the fact people owning both platforms would prefer the vita version...

Pre-order bonuses for EU (NA probably later in the day)

GAME and Early Purchasers via PlayStation Store – Additional supporting character Gust-Chan and an original custom theme based on Gust-Chan. Unlike other supporting characters in this game, players can use Gust-Chan in battle!

Amazon and Independent Retailers through CentreSoft – Two custom themes based on the artwork of Nights of Azure.

Rest of Europe: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

not happy with this tbh

EDIT: This is Gust Chan

Looks like it's going up at 12:00 GMT, time to set my alarm!

I refuse to miss this ;_;

Edit: Urgh, GAME? Really? :/ I hope NISA offers the same bonus with the LE...

Same, Gust-chan needs to be in the LE, themes too.
Don't think the LE will disappear in one day though.

It's a full blown action JRPG with monster summoning, a serious story line and castlevania like setting featuring two female lovers ;D

Wait, it's a love story too? This is now too much.

Screw it, I'm pulling the trigger.

Also, you are right. This soundtrack is really freaking good.

Can't believe it's only about 2 months away from release :)

I've been dying to play this every since it was announced.

It'd be weird for them not to include it with the LE, but you never know with GAME >.> I'll have a chat with NISA after work and see if they're able to say anything yet.

Don't think I've ever seen anything sell out as quickly on their EU store as stuff does on the US one, but that's probably because of what they charge in Europe. I'm telling myself that anyways since I might not get a chance to preorder it until the evening >.<

I love NISA to bits, I really do, but their prices tend to be really hard to stomach.

Edit: Figured they wouldn't be able to say anything about the Gust-chan DLC yet but thought I'd check anyways:

@BlitzPancake @LichGrey We have to wait until the PS4 version is out and we also have to make sure the quality is at its best for the PSV.
