the rock segment was awesome...after the 20 minute flamethrower entrance and 10 minutes to let them know about the attendance record

after that though i thoroughly enjoyed it. he needs to chill with the pauses though. so bad, and in a mania that went like 6 hours it hurts even more.

As someone who has just got back into wrestling the whole event left me pretty sour.

Kalisto vs Ryback was performed in front of 12 people and still better than most of the main card.

Women's title match was my favourite match I think. Dat moonsult.

The Rock segment was too long and too pointless. Cena is still broken so his impact means nothing. If he'd have dropped the rock with the F U and cut a promo about rock coming back every mania trying to steal the glory it would have saved the show.

Main event was a mess all around. Can't beleive that shit ran so long too. Been at work an hour and no amount of coffee is helping.

Also DDP getting a bigger push than he ever did in WWE...

I think the rock segment had another purpose to eliminate the old record of 18 seconds by Sheamus over Daniel Bryan since he probably going to be in hall of fame in next couple of years.

Y2J and AJ was weird booking Aj should of gone over and moved on to new opponent.

New day had cool entrance but match its self was forgettable but was the attitude era token nostalgia match which is disappointing for one one the hottest things in wwe atm.

The womens match was good and what the division needed we'll see how long the can book same three women til they can cycle in others but will probably grow stale by next year.

Shane and Undertaker was ok but nothing that great HiaC is a gimmick match that served its purpose and be should done with in my opinion not the same in this era just make them cage matches.

Ladder match was great had some nice spots and tribute to dusty by cody set the start of zayn and owens. Ryder winning was kind of a shock but may be hotshotting belt tomorrow to a callup samoa joe maybe?

main event was what we knew it would be but not a bad match but now we get to look forward to the rematch i guess next ppv so feud will continue i guess.

Wrestlemania was average just seems bad due to length hard to keep everyone entertained and happy for 6+ hours even the attitude era would not be able to do it when they had everyone. Most fan favorites were injured this year so makes it tougher.

Actually quite like all the outcomes, Ryder going over was incredible and whilst there are others who deserve it just as much it was complete shock and really mixed up the predictability as of late.

Charlotte retaining was fine, shes a good heel and her keeping the Divas...Womens title is a good way to breed credibility to the division. Have her hold it for a while and build up other feuds between the roster creating a ordered contender list, this way we dont just get feuds built out of nothing. Had the other women fight to get to the title shot.

Reigns winning was good ( hear me out ). It's now over, there's no where for him to go but down. He wont any longer be the underdog being held down by the man. That only has ever worked twice in WWE history, Michaels and Bryan because they were both very very similarly played out careers and emoted with people in the same way. Hopefully now, Reigns will keep the title for a bit, he's going to feud with Cena where he can not be the babyface, Cena will get the title back and Reigns will be forgotten. I know people hate Cena but the past few years ( barring injuries ) He's performed incredibly well and consistently had good matches, arguably the best he's been in his career.

Battle Royal - Corbyn went over. That's good. Have no interested in him but again just like Ryder, they chucked in a surprises where everyone expected Henry, Kane or Big Show to ruin the evening.

Take vs Shane was fine. As expected for everyone I'm sure. Just like another poster said, would rather Shane went over just to see a shake up to the weekly programming, the authority should have died long ago. I'm sure Shane's story isn't finished yet though.

So Jericho puts over fucking Fandango of all people at WM29, but goes over on AJ Styles at WM32? Okay.

We don't know how these type of matches are booked. Bigger story driven matches are all determined by the bookers but given both of these guys stature in the wrestling world for all we know they could have been given free reigns over this and just flipped a coin between them.

I think AJ winning would have been better but the match was solid, it was a good feud and showcased that Jericho whilst getting old can still go whilst showing that AJ can keep up with veteran WWE guys.

It's not about burying AJ, if they wanted to do that then he wouldnt have had a single win over Jericho.

We thought that the last two times Roman was made champ and they continued to make him the underdog even as champion and then strip the title off him so he could chase it some more. They'll just have him get laid out by the Balor Club or Samoa Joe or something and make him the face in peril that needs to overcome the odds just like Cena all those times.

Oddly enough, I'm half expecting him to feud with Jericho now.

Remember in 2011 when Punk told Cena that "you're no longer the underdog, you're a 10 time champion, you're a dynasty" and Cena was like "I have no idea what you're saying, I'm the ultimate underdog"

I woke up tonight, took a look at my iPad and saw the message: Undertaker defeated Shane McMahon. Sigh. Well that feud was pretty worthless. Maybe Shane will spill the secrets today; and that will make the whole match meaningless.

That bit got even better when Punk put the screws to Cena and said he was the New York Yankees.

No, Punk called him "The NYankees" and Cena slapped him, then at the contract signing for Summerslam he gladly accepted that kinda name, because "listen: *booos* so much butthurt. I don't care about these poople, I care about muh fanz". And that was the end of that.

EDIT: Listen to what Rock says at minute 3. This is what has to happen tonight.

Why is this so hard for HHH/Vince to understand?

Cena, they think they can make money out of Reigns despite the boos. Except, Cena came before the world got overexposed to the internet, now everybody is smarking out and kids were legitimately booing him in the front row seats yesterday.

Jericho beating AJ is just so backwards to me. Like this is the type of shit that Jericho himself would say no to right? Or is Vince that stubborn? I'm sorry but that's the only outcome that really just annoyed me, other than that the show was just....weird. Like literally all the results I understand BUT the Y2AJ match. I just don't get it.

Ok watched the title match.

It was a pretty by the numbers match. Nothing terrible or outstanding. It was just a match.

Crowd audio fucker-y was really detracting. You can hear then fiddle with it in real time, sometimes making it really easy to hear both men in ring call spots to each other when they go with a lot of ring mic and basically cut the crowd mics

The announce team is in their own world with the way they are presenting Roman. At no point to they mention the boos or the negative reaction Roman has consistently been getting.

Wrestlemania is the biggest show of the year that is meant to cap off feuds and end storylines but this year literally very single match this year ending with a anti climax or punt so the story can be dragged out. Its terrible but totally fits the "no one is getting over. 50/50 booking" we have gotten a lot of the last year.

What difference does it make if the guy you liked lost?

Why do people imagine one loss is going to ruin a guy's career?

AJ Styles will have a nice, long career in WWE.

I went to the show tonight. It was honestly a lot of fun. My first Mania ever. There were a lot of great matches but a ton of weird finishes. The way I described it my bro was that I think if I watched it on TV i wouldn't have enjoyed it that much. But being there live amidst the crowd and atmosphere it was a blast. I admit I was marking out like crazy.

Obviously the main event was the biggest disappointment. Not only was the finish just shitty, but the match itself was very boring. I've never heard so many boos in my life it was deafening.

The Shane-Taker match was an amazing ride. Even though I wanted Shane to win there's nothing wrong with Taker winning. Shane is a legend. The crowd was going absolutely bonkers for his spots.

The women triple threat was honestly my favorite match of the night. It was the first time I see any of these ladies in action. They killed it.

AJ Styles and Jericho was a decent match. Started a bit slow but ramped up quickly later. When AJ started gaining momentum at the end I just knew it was heading for a reversal for the Jericho win. AJ should have won though.

The ladder match was an absolute blast. All the guys did great. The last move from Sami really looked like it killed Owens from where I was sitting lool.

I marked the fuck out for HBK, Foley, and Austin. Stone Cold definitely got theverything loudest pop of the night.

The Rock segment was ok. I think it would have been better if they kept it as a surprise. I could see Cena coming a mile away. What surprised me was that he had positive reaction after the loud boos at hall of fame lol.

Everything mentioned so far (minus the main event) was awesome. But the biggest disappointment by far was Lesnar Ambrose. At least with Reigns/HHH I knew there was a small chance that WWE would be stubborn and finish it the way they did. But this? God this fuckin match was hyped to no end. It was barely a street fight! It was a goddam squash match. Wtf happened? It was literally an 11 min match. It didn't make Ambrose look strong at all. And it was just a waste of Brock's talent honestly.

Oh and no blood at all? That blew my mind.

I know my impressions seem negative but I really had a great time. It's just easier to vent the negatives than it is to relay the positives haha.

Going to RAW tomorrow. Really don't know what to expect. Too bad there probably won't be a Shane appearance. But oh there will be more boos that's for sure.

Oh yeah New Day lost too.

Man fuck this show.

That is not the problem, the problem is the cognitive dissonance.

Oh hey let's revive the women's title and make it legit while the tag team division is dead why do we even have world titles for such a thing again?

And, that's a valid question: why do they have a two-men title when the roster is packed full of 3+ jobber cliques?

Can I ask a (stupid) question?

How did the bookies get every match (bar the armbar) spot on? I can sort of get most of them being predictable but they even got Ryder right.

In all honesty, an insider. Word always gets out. Shane's return to Raw the other week got spoiled hours before the show started. Same as Brock's return years back was broken too. It doesn't take long for word to spread.

Something about this decision in particular just seem so counter productive. What can you possibly do to Y2J moving forward? It's Y2J.

Jericho winning makes sense as they obviously want to continue the feud. Babyface winning at Mania kills the the thing dead. Only problem is that we've seen so many matches between them in recent months that the feud really should have ended last night.

What's even worse is that it's one of the better feuds in the company right now even though its been played out. It makes sense logically with Jericho pissed off that a newcomer comes to his company and gets bigger cheers than a 6 time world champion. Ringwork and promos have been good. Complete opposite of Triple H and Reigns which didn't make sense and had mediocre ring work.

They fully know beforehand that Reigns is gonna get booed. Why force him down our throats then?
they think it doesn't matter cause of Cena getting booed and still making money.

They also did some market research saying plenty of people like Roman, so they just ignore the crowds since they believe "the silent majority" love him.

2-2 series. Another match to come.

Enjoyed the heck out of last nights show, tonne of fun.

Didn't like basically all of the endings, except Corbin but the matches were all fun and had good spots so I don't really mind that much.

IC ladder match - Lots of crazy spots. Wish Sami would've won. I don't get the love for Ryder at all. He's not even that good of a wrestler.

New Gay vs League of Booty - Cool New Day entrance. Big E is going to break something with that out of the ring tackle.

AJ VS Y2J - Decent match, but they've had better and I don't get why Jericho had to win unless they're doing it again.

Ambrose vs Leasnar - This sucked. I guess someone told them not to do anything too crazy.

Becky vs Sasha vs Charlotte - Probably the best match of the show. Wish Sasha had won it.

Taker vs Shane - Horrible. I thought Shane was getting "the lockbox", but it was just a toolbox. The look on Taker's face at the end told it all.

HHH vs Roman - Steph looked pretty hot. I wasn't expecting HHH to leave witht he belt and I don't know how you turn heel against the Authority, so this was what I expected.

As I said earlier, people keep showing up to watch. WWE shows complete contempt for this generation of "smarks" and I don't blame them at all. They'll keep shoving the product down people's throats as long as the people keep buying it. They'll boo and moan but they buy it!
