First impressions:
Negatives first:
- "Hey Cortana" is a bit slow in this early phase. It has a warm up atm which seems to delay commands a full second or two longer then you're used to.
- Also, no longer saying "Xbox, ___" for things WILL take some getting used to.
This is my experience so far. Pausing/Playing/Volume Up and Down/etc. are all incredibly slow. I got the update yesterday at some point - it was waiting for me when I got home (that was funteresting when trying to turn the Xbone on initially).
Because I didn't get much beyond that I don't have many other opinions yet. It's weird saying "Hey Cortana, Go to Sleep" (instead of Turn Off) as well - I really do wish you could continue to utilize old commands.
One thing I heard: If you have a Windows 10 computer in the same room, they both respond - that could be a huge cluster eff.
My wife hates this update so far.
I'll hopefully have more time to play with it over the weekend, but y'all may have the update for yourselves by then.
