The flat earth is surrounded by a gigantic ice wall, Artantica. nobody knows how deep the wall goes on, because of the Antarctic Treaty, and because of the harsh conditions.

Gravity is measure at the center of an object. So at the core of the earth. If earth was disc shaped, or flat, it would eventually collapse within itself and turn into a sphere. This is because gravity evenly pulls earth in all directions.

Apparently, to this date nobody has circumnavigated the earth north to south. Some consider this a red flag.
People have absolutely circumnavigated the globe north to south. Where do you get this stuff from? It can be difficult because, you know, there's a giant inhospitable continent in the way, but people have done it. I think the BBC even made a documentary about one of them.
This whole flat Earth thing has got to be one of the dumbest things the internet has produced. I can only assume 90% of people are just going along with it as a joke. Have you heard of the Verrazano Bridge? I bet its in some conspiracy video, but its a bridge that had to be constructed with the curvature of the Earth in mind. Were the bridge's architects a part of the conspiracy? Why even bother, like who would go "wait a minute, the towers on the bridge aren't 1 inch further apart at the top then at the bottom. Dear god, the Earth must be flat!"
Do you know about the International Space Station? Its up there in low Earth orbit, which is not possible with a flat Earth. Now I know the ISS is just a NASA conspiracy and all that, but because of its orbit, it ends up orbiting above a lot of the Earth. Every once in a while the station will fly above your area. If you know where to look and the weather is good, with binoculars or even with a good eye, you can see it. Get a good telescope and you can even discern different sections of the station. Now you might be saying "but thats a NASA image, therefore its fake". But you can prove with your own eyes and equipment that the ISS is up there. Countless people have repeated this 'experiment'. It even transmits a radio broadcast that you can tune into when its overhead. The broadcast won't last forever though because the ISS will eventually go over your horizon and the signal will no longer have line of sight. With a flat Earth, that signal would always be there.
What does that even mean? I'm pretty sure you're just joking around at this point. You post things that are factually untrue and then compare the sun to a pool table. Or are you comparing the Earth to a pool table? It makes so little sense the best explanation I can come up with is that the Flat Earth Conspiracy is actually a conspiracy to identify the gullible people on our planet. I call it the Flat Earth Conspiracy Conspiracy and I'll be making a very poorly edited and researched youtube video about it soon.
Once again: The Flat Earth Society dates back to Illuminatus by Robert Anton Wilson, and is explicitly for the purpose of fucking with people. It's a troll from the seventies.

How does wind work on a flat earth?
The ice walls create a small vacuum by cooling the air, which causes it to move towards the edges of the world. Once it reaches it, it bounces off the walls in other directions.

Yea... Even if the world is flat. Why would they try and make us believe the world is round? Like there is no reason. Out of all conspiracy theories,I can't think of any political or economical interest for people to think the world is round rather than flat.
I can understand if there is a clash of opinions and evidence if there wasn't any proper proof. Like infinite space theory, things we can't really grasp. But when it comes to Earth, we have pictures and just common sense at this point.

Yes and no. To the common person, the evidence the earth is round is given, it is not observed directly. No one on this forum can say they have seen the earth as a spherical object in space with their own eyes, and so we must trust to the word of others that it is indeed spherical (which of course it is). Point being that no, there is no evidence directly for most people, just like there is none we have visited the moon, or that god exists.
Is religion different? A belief based on the spoken or written word? It is still knowledge given not learned. The proof for one is beyond the reach of science, but the proof for both are beyond the reach of the every day man, and I would think to most a flat earth is just as fantastical as heaven and hell.
I would think most logical people can weigh up the volume of evidence in favor of a position, but for the distrusting it is all third hand and thus all up for debate. I can't see why someone who believed in God would have an especially hard time believing in a flat earth, for example, as if they believe in God, they may have discarded science.
The idea actually started with a feud between map makers and globe makers. As you can imagine, these were very lucrative professions in the olden days. Plenty of reason to start going ahead with false advertising.

Even today, NASA, dozens of companies employ and spend billions, perhaps even trillions of dollars to keep up the charade of the spherical Earth.
Also if the government can convince people the earth is round, they can convince them of anything.

I vaguely recall reading that it's part of the conspiracy. GPS is real in that it knows where you are, but it doesn't use satellites - that's just an excuse to jack up the price. In fact, all of the telecommunications industry is a sham because you only need a handful of antennas on high mountains on a flat Earth for anything you might need. On a round Earth they need many antennas and satellites, so they push this to, again, jack up the prices.
Makes as much sense as any other conspiracy retcon, I suppose.

Holograms of airplanes were projected in place of real planes. Their explosions on impact were the result of well-timed explosives. Aside from flat Earth, it's maybe the dumbest thing I've heard in my life.

But it isn't an infinite plain that's absurd. And gravity wouldnt act downward everywhere. Its still measured at the center of an object. If earth was a disc, this is howmou would experience gravity, it would skew towards the center of a flat earth.
This is how you would combat the force of gravity as you went further away from the center...
Most of the things you see here could be disproven. There are individual videos that can exolain why things happen like you see in the video.
