season 2 when?

I think OPM's final fight was overall better animated and flashier, but I like Mob Psycho's better since half of it is just Reigen straight-up verbally destroying Claw. You almost start to feel sorry for that bald dude as Reigen just embarrasses him in front of all his friends.

This was never going to be as flashy as OPM's finale (or rather, the first half of its finale) simply because of the subject matter. The animation is still rock solid throughout the entire episode, and the art style changes are always a treat.

Now what's the next step in your master plan?
Haven't seen the episode but have read the webcomic and this is one of the best moments in the series and with how everything else has been adapted from the Webcomic this should only follow suit on being great.

I can't wait for the hopefully inevitable season 2 as there is easily more than enough material to do a second season and a lot of the events build off everything set up in Season 1 and
The villains are far better overall

So in winter we will probably get Boku no Hero S2 and then spring MP 100 S2?

Bones has been doing a lot of season 2's lately so I wouldn't be surprised. It would be nice if we could just alternate these two shows every couple seasons.

that was such a great episode, I had a wide smile on my face throughout. I didnt expect that climax. its was great lool.

I actually think that ending was so satisfying the I dont really want a s2, especially if it focuses on "claw" and super espers.

Since My Hero Academia aired on the Nichigo timeslot, which will be taken up with Iron-Blooded Orphans for the fall and winter seasons, season 2 probably won't air until spring at the earliest. As for Mob, who knows. A second season hasn't been announced yet.

Fun fact: the bonus animation from the end was key animated by none other than ONE himself!

ONE only drew a still, actually. The end segment was professional animators closely imitating his style.

Reigen the legend.

Show of the season, even though the episode was not what I expected at all (again), that was a hell of a way to end that fight. Hilarious, moving, and just plain awesome at times. I love Mob Psycho 100.

The first half climax of next season is going to blow you away. I know it did me.

The material a second season covers should be great overall. The characters all get some great moments, the action really ramps up and the emotional moments hit harder than ever. Also the villains are great overall.

Amazing finale. Reigen has Dr.Doom level confidence in himself. I like that he did the same thing he intended to do last episode, just with more firepower to make them listen.

There's a good number of story arcs before CLAW becomes relevant again.

Mob Psycho 100 Episode 12

Anime of the Year. Reigen the GOAT.

I don't think I've seen such a perfect anime for a while. Mob is such an endearing protagonist, surrounded by one of the quirkiest and yet entertaining supporting casts ever. The animation speaks for itself as a masterpiece and the overall direction has been perfect in every episode. I absolutely love this series and I sincerely hope there is a second season soon.

Once again, ONE subverts my expectations. Reigen is the best character in the show. It seems like with ONE's work, he always has the secondary character(s) shine the most.

I wonder if next season will
delve more into possibly Mob transferring his physic energy into other people temporarily.

What a great show and a great finale, if this doesn't get a season two I will be disappointed. It's too bad that Mob doesn't have the power of memes behind it like OPM did to give it a boost in popularity. But I feel that, over time, Mob will be ranked high in the 2016 releases.

Goddamn. For a second thought Mob will go through a Gon like phase in the Chimera ant arc. But Nnnope! Man I didn't see that coming! 0.0. ;D

Fuck this show.

Using society as a standard to judge when he's an abuser of people makes my blood boil: he's relegated himself to a worm that feasts off the system and believes that the only possible "growing up" is assimilation with the standards of society. Worthless stain of a character.

Just watched the episode. Great as it was in the manga and they actually redid a lot of the fights and made them extra flashy but it really worked. I actually can't wait for season 2. Some shit goes down and the events escalate quickly and build off a lot of what is started and set up in season 1. Webcomic Spoiler
We also see several characters who can take on Mob which is awesome as well!
Can't wait to see some of those animated.

Reigen isn't saying that growing up means assimilation. He's saying that natural talent alone doesn't make anyone better or worse than their peers. He means that a group of people wanting to rule everyone else because they were born with a lucky gift is childish. Instead of using their powers for anything that's actually productive, they're just using their powers to stroke their own egos.

Also not sure why you're calling Reigen an abuser. He might lie about psychic stuff but he's always worked to help the people around him.

When has Reigan ever abused anyone? He solves their problems. He's the only one that cares about how Mob actually feels.

It is interesting that a con man is the moral center of the story. I hope someday we'll find out more about Reigen to see what makes him such a contradiction.

This adaptation might actually be better than webcomic in some ways. The fights for one are reminiscent of the webcomic but taken to far further possibilities, often filling in the gaps for the rougher art style ONE uses and going all out over the top in others. This bodes incredibly well for the stuff that is coming up in the second season as ONE's art get better as the series goes on and some of the events coming up were cool to read about but I can't wait to see Bones adapting them in full for season 2.

That was very good. I'm happy.

Considering how stupidly powerful Reiji from GBF the boss' son seems to be, maybe Mob can get an actual rival in the HQ?

I knew it! The art was way too accurate.

I really hope we get that second season. Without trying hype too much, the next two arcs really showcase how good of a shounen writer ONE is for two completely different scenarios.

This show was such a surprise for me. I don't know what I expected (maybe an uglier OPM?) but I really enjoyed the themes of inner conflict and feelings of inadequacy of the characters. Also Reigen is a great character whether you agree with him or not.

Action and comedy were good too.

I actually was pondering why the shift of art. I was wondering if this was an homage. But this is by ONE himself! That's awesome!

Man it's been awhile an since an anime gave me an after effect like this. You know happy, sadness, and denial.

Sup Gas mask dude.

Mob Pycho 112 Dalmatians: End of Dalmatians I'm getting Pongo neutered

Beautiful to look at but I gotta admit the more comedic ending to the fight isn't the most hype way to finish off a show with battles. Reigen is a fantastic character and all though. Definitely will be my AOTY, but the finale compared to how much I loved the OPM one is a bit weaker. Visually it was amazing though.
