Any Canadians deal with eb games on this? Was wondering if they'll hook me up with the early access code even if I don't pay in full?
I guess worst case I could get the code download then just get a refund for the pre-order regardless.
Also did anyone pre-order online from eb and get a code?

I am aware that in order to play Modern Warfare Remastered, physical disc (for disc version) is required (and internet connection required).

But, is the Infinite Warfare single player campaign requires internet connection?

I'll never play this game campaign on the hardest difficulty again. I remember going through that hell. Was unbalanced and horrendously frustrating lol. Maybe now that I'm older I would fair better, but I remember crazy precise grenades and what felt like aim bots at every turn.

yeah veteran is fucking dumb in these games. i dunno how people find it enjoyable. regular enemies are basically like aimbot snipers. i'm assuming most people who are playing those difficulties are doing it for trophies. i remember that one level where there is a
countdown timer...

Yep. I'm so fucking there once it's on it's own. Bots in private matches makes it completely worth it alone.

Waiting for the chopper to arrive in Pripyat on veteran was one of the most frustrating moments in gaming for me. Grenades, grenades, grenades and more grenades.

I was specifically replying to the Tweet saying it was available in the US, which is isn't yet. It does appear to be widely available everywhere by the US. Everyone here and on reddit playing now appear to be in the UK.

Edit: It's live on the US store now!

I heard they got better slightly after MW2 but nah veteran is some straight up grenade spam. WAW was even worse with it.

I ordered online, but they typically don't charge until shipped. Do I need to cancel online and buy in store to get the campaign early?

They emailed me a code for it yesterday, I ordered the physical version.

Yup , most overrated cod game. Specially that mission, all ghilled up. I don't see it.
I usually love cod campaigns and cod 4 is one of the worsts, possibly worse than ghosts.

They have always charged me the full amount at the time of order.

So if this is very successful, like COD4: MWR online users are very similar to COD: IW in December/January, it's safe to assume Activision will either change COD current path to the futuristic and/or keep making remastered of last gen COD games, right?

As much as I don't like remasters, I feel Activision is actually selling this for a very small price to those 15M+ that always get a COD game every year. $20 for a complete remaster that includes single player and multiplayer is a fantastic price compared to other "remasters".

I just wanna know if Canada is even in on this. Charlie intel lists EBgames Canada as the only retailer doing the early access, but my local EBgames in Toronto doesn't have a clue. They just told me I can get the IW beta if I pre-order. EBgames.ca also doesn't have anything on the early access for the campaign listed as a pre-order incentive.

All I know is that if you plan on pre-ordering for a code to play the campaign and then cancel the pre-order, which I'm assuming you just want the campaign and won't get IW, then you'll only have access to COD4 for the next 4 weeks. Once the full game gets released, it'll be locked behind the disc. You'll need Infinite Warfare.

I could see them doing the same for MW2 the PC version maxed out still holds up pretty well.

I would buy MW:R separate for $60. It's worth the money. But I don't want to pay another $30 for IW.
